What I liked best was that the guest card allowed us to use the mountain railways for free. That makes the value for money outstanding. We paid €62.50 per day. That’s actually a lot for a campground by a river in the mountains. But considering that, it’s excellent. The small temporary restroom is very nice. The other restroom facilities are relatively new and functional. And spotlessly clean, even though the campground was completely full. The little restaurant on the grounds is very nice. The sites facing the river are beautiful. Great view of the mountains Bus stop right at the campground Bike path also right at the campground.

The street is right next to the campground. You can hear it from the sites right next to it, too. However, it’s very quiet at night. The drainage in the showers isn’t great. There’s also very limited space to hang up your clothes. The vegetarian pizza we got was pretty tiny for €15.

The hosts are exactly that—great hosts :) Every time I visit, I feel warmly welcomed, and every time I say goodbye, I look forward to seeing them again. A great team, a dream location, a place I long to return to.

You can’t choose your neighbors. Actually, we’re always “lucky”— it really depends on yourself, on how sociable and tolerant you are. Only the constantly whining Rottweilers belonging to the “gun owner” next door, who brags about it, were quite an experience… but the owners can’t be blamed for that. It doesn’t stop me from coming back, either.

The campground's location near the Breitach River, combined with the constant view of the mountains, is simply unbeatable.

A beautiful location with a view of the mountains. A lovely little river runs alongside the campground. Nice, clean restrooms. Wonderful hiking in the area. Free bus rides and mountain lifts.

Limited number of shaded spots

Great location, a cozy campground run with a lot of care. Very clean restrooms. Exemplary sustainability down to the smallest detail. Incredibly delicious, homemade food at reasonable prices. It was our first time there, and it certainly won’t be our last.

A sign pointing to the entrance to the campground would be great, but it's not a big deal—the road ends in about 500 meters, and you'll automatically turn back 😉
