We really enjoyed our stay, especially the great nearby beach. One thing we’d like to point out is the cleanliness of the restroom buildings. For example, I often used the same restroom—one day there was a rock in the corner or cobwebs hanging from the ceiling—and by evening,... after cleaning, everything was just as it had been in the morning. I have to say, a cleaning staff member should be able to spot that. Another suggestion regarding the kiosk: on some days, the kiosk was pretty empty if you wanted to buy things like candy or chips. We would have preferred to spend our money with you.
But we still had a wonderful vacation.

There was plenty of open space, and the wooden tables and benches were perfect for coffee breaks. It was just a short walk to the shower house and the beach.
A bike path led conveniently to the town of “Burg.”
Any questions we had at check-in or the front desk were always answered thoroughly.

However, the restroom facilities are showing their age and aren’t very well maintained. Cleaning schedules were repeatedly not followed, and the washhouse was closed in the afternoon. Also, the cleaning wasn’t really thorough.

- APAnn-Kathrin P.julij 2026I highly recommend itOur stay was simply a complete success! It was our very first time at a campground, and we never would have thought that this kind of vacation would thrill us so much. We felt completely at home from the very first day and enjoyed every minute.
The campground is very well-maintained, clean, and perfect... for families. We were especially impressed by the many great playgrounds scattered throughout the grounds. Our kids always had something new to discover and were able to run around to their hearts’ content. Another highlight was the kids’ entertainment program—varied, thoughtfully organized, and run with great enthusiasm. Our children had a blast and looked forward to the various activities every day.
The value for money is also truly excellent. Given everything the campground offers, the price is absolutely fair.
A big shout-out also goes to the entire team. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and warm at all times, making us feel welcome the entire time.
One thing is certain for us: This was definitely not our last camping vacation—and certainly not our last stay at this campground. We spent two weeks at the campground and enjoyed a fantastic entertainment program that included batik, bread on a stick, live music, a magician, making elderberry beads, and special activities that... lasted three days each, such as woodturning at the seesaw bench and willow weaving—for example, making baskets or garden decorations.
The ocean is just a few steps away. There, you’ll find a beach that’s cleaned daily with a gentle slope into the water.

We always enjoy our stay here. This year, though, I have to mention “the sites.” We’d booked very late, and unlike usual, we were given a site on the right side with a partially paved area. We really liked... that, especially since the long-term campers on that side were friendlier and didn’t “wrap themselves in snobbish arrogance.” We’d noticed that very clearly for years.
We had planned to stay for 14 days. The beautiful weather simply made us want to stay longer. Two weeks turned into four weeks, with two moves within the same section. Everything went great. It was a relaxing vacation in a lovely setting.

The food at the restaurant was good and the prices were reasonable—not overpriced. We were there with our dog, and we were allowed to walk him all over the campground; and of course, every dog owner knows to clean up after their dog right away.
