- 5.0WKWolfgang K.oktober 2026Vacation 2026We arrived on Sunday and had to wait two hours at the cemetery for the marathon—no notification?
The grass on the field hadn't been mowed; I mentioned it, but nothing was done in the three weeks since?
The vacation was very nice, as always—great neighbors, friendly staff.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første! - 5.0TAThorsten A.oktober 2026Positive tingLocation, Value for Money, Wi-FiI'd love to do it againOnce again, we were completely satisfied! Our only criticism would be regarding the lawn mowing! Unfortunately, the clippings are left lying around, and of course, you end up tracking them everywhere! The freshly cleaned restroom facilities then immediately look as if nothing had been done there for... a long time! Maybe it would be better to mow with a grass catcher after all. The staff is still very helpful and friendly. We’d love to come back next year and are already looking forward to it 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. We really liked the farmhouse café in Klausdorf and the ice cream shop in Burg. - 5.0STStephan T.september 2026Positive tingValue for money, location, cleanliness, lot size, friendlinessNegative tingnoneSüdstrand CampgroundDates: September 4–21, 2026
From the moment we made our reservation until our departure, we were completely satisfied with our stay. Especially when compared to the surrounding campgrounds, we found the value for money to be exceptionally good.
Upon arrival, we didn’t reach the campground until after... the reception desk’s regular opening hours due to traffic. We had already notified them of this in advance by phone. As a result, a staff member stayed late specifically so we could check in without any problems—a truly friendly and accommodating service.
The entire campground is very well maintained. The individual sites are generously sized, so there’s plenty of room for a trailer and a car, while still leaving enough space for an awning or similar.
We were also impressed by the restroom facilities. They were always very clean and were thoroughly cleaned every day. The small supermarket on the campground offers everything you need for daily essentials. The fresh rolls in the morning were especially nice.
Another plus is the proximity to the sea. Burgtiefe is about 2.5 km away and can be easily reached on foot via a beautiful path along the coast.
Overall, Fehmarn was a pleasant surprise. There are many beautiful trails along the coast, and the landscape is particularly charming for nature lovers. We were also impressed by the weather in September, which isn’t something we take for granted, since we’ve mostly camped in the Mediterranean region until now.
All in all, the whole package just worked for us. We felt very comfortable there and would visit the campground again anytime.
For that, we’re giving it full marks!Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første! - 4.0TAThomas Achim B.september 2026GreatNice place. Perfect for camping with a dog! You can quickly bike to Burg from the beach. - 4.0SASusanne A.september 2026Positive tingRight by the waterNegative ting-----Beautiful CampgroundA very nice campground with plenty to offer children. I really enjoyed it.
Unfortunately, we were there just before the season opened. That’s why there were no more activities, and it was already very quiet otherwise.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første! - 5.0TJTatjana J.september 2026RecommendationOverall, we were very satisfied and felt very comfortable. The restrooms were very clean. We’d like to see some improvements in the signage for the campsites. While walking around the campground, we noticed that some sites were very close together. Perhaps the sites could be separated a bit more with... hedges, ropes, or something similar. We would have liked a small fenced-in area for the dogs to run around. It’s also very dark on the grounds at night. On the positive side, we liked the dog waste bag dispenser, the reading room, and the snacks available at the front desk. We’d also like to thank Julie for her great advice and wonderful ideas. We’ll definitely be back.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første!
- 4.0MPMartin P.september 2026Inexpensive and goodVery relaxing, quiet, and affordable—except for the lack of hedge trimming and the overgrown trees at the bottom (you do have to be able to turn the trailer around the corner, after all). And the shower controls, which could use some improvement—otherwise, good.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første!
- 5.0ASAndrea S.september 2026Great, we'd love to comeWe don't come here often—only when our friends are here—but we always enjoy coming.
Dogs stay for free during the early and off seasons.
And dogs are even allowed on the beach right nearby.
Plus, it's just a short walk—about 30 minutes—to Burg Tiefe.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første! - 5.0AGAnnerose G.september 2026Great family-friendly campground🏖️🌳🏕️🐾⛵️We received a very warm and friendly welcome and felt right at home from the very beginning. The campground is very spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully landscaped. Our site was pleasantly large and was also conveniently located near the restrooms.
Although the restrooms are showing their age a... bit, they’re still very clean and well-maintained. We especially appreciated the spacious showers, which are included in the price. A small but truly lovely touch was the music in the restrooms—it creates a pleasant atmosphere and provides a little bit more privacy.
Even though the season was coming to an end, the small convenience store was still surprisingly well-stocked. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful.
We were, however, somewhat disappointed by our visit to the restaurant. The sauce we ordered with our schnitzel cost €4, but at first there was hardly any on the plate. After we mentioned it, we were given a little more sauce—and people at the neighboring tables were also talking about similar experiences. The salmon salad also contained very little salmon for our taste, even though we were charged an extra €6 for it. It was especially disappointing that a pizza was served significantly burnt and, in our opinion, should never have left the kitchen. Maybe we just happened to visit on an off day—especially since the restaurant closes at the end of the season anyway.
Despite this minor disappointment at the restaurant, we really enjoyed our stay. The campground itself really won us over, and we’d definitely love to come back! 😍Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. - 3.0JSJens S.september 2026VACATIONNo information sheet on how things work, emergency phone number, or where the key is. WARNING: Basic, minimalist amenities! Be sure to wash EVERYTHING you use—all dishes. SLIPPERS are highly recommended; there’s no vacuum cleaner and it’s not clean. Tip: Don’t just wash the sheets—bring your entire set... of bedding! Be careful with the toilet! OUR toilet was loose—you could practically pull it right out. Otherwise, a very nice place with very clean showers! GREAT location right on the water.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første!
- 4.0GMGustav M.september 2026Good spotIt was remarkable that the trailer, including the awning, was in extremely clean condition; the mattresses were very comfortable, and the awning’s amenities—namely, the kitchenette—were modern and well-equipped.
The only (minor) issues were the rear window, which wouldn’t close properly, and the heater, which I couldn’t get to work.
Otherwise, everything was great—we’d love to come back.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første! - 5.0AMAndrea M.september 2026Positive tingGood locationWe'll be backThe spot where we were parked was very quiet and beautiful—just the way we like it. Electricity and water right at the spot—what more could you ask for? The trees blocked our satellite signal, but that wasn’t such a big deal either. Of course, the proximity to the beach is also worth mentioning. This was our third time at this campsite, and it certainly won’t be our last.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første!
- 5.0TSThomas S.september 2026Positive tingVery quiet, at least in the off-seasonNegative tingNoneAnnual LeaveWe didn't really have any major complaints. - 5.0PKP. K.september 2026Positive tingLast-minute visits are possibleHave a wonderful stayThe staff were very friendly and welcomed us, even though we didn't have a reservation. We were offered several spots and were able to take our time choosing one—even for just one night’s stay. We’ll be back and will enjoy the campground for longer next time. The restrooms were neat and clean, the convenience store was well-stocked, and the direct access to the ocean was especially nice. A great place.
