- RKRolf K.avgust 2026Great campgroundWe felt right at home! Such a spacious grounds with free play and recreational options offers plenty of variety. The beach and the Baltic Sea are, of course, easily accessible via several paths. The bike path running right along the coast made it easy to set out on bike rides. There’s even the chance... to try out water sports!
The campground is clean, the restrooms are in good condition, and they’re cleaned regularly. The staff are very friendly and helpful. For example, they helped us out without any hassle when we wanted to extend our stay by one night. They found us an available spot that was convenient for us in terms of moving our RV.
The small shop selling fresh bread rolls and other snacks is a great asset. We liked the menu at the restaurant—and the food was delicious!

- DSDirk S.avgust 2026Top SpotThere are always people who want more—at no extra charge. For several years now, we’ve loved staying at this very campground. Partly because of the kids and the seemingly endless play areas, and partly because of the reasonable prices. The campground is top-notch—warm and welcoming, not sterile, and... authentic. You can still enjoy life here! Thanks for that! We find everything we need right on the campground. The little shop has everything you need—and no one needs more than that, whether you’re from the east, south, west, or north. Anyone who has something to complain about should check out the campsites in northern Brandenburg... You’re greeted warmly right at check-in, and all the staff on the grounds are friendly and accommodating. There’s a restaurant and a small kiosk. The surf school and kitesurfing school round out the experience for all sports enthusiasts. I’m deducting two stars because... the hot water in the showers lasts only two minutes, and then you have to wait a minute. Also, the Wi-Fi is very slow in some areas. I’d like the option of faster Wi-Fi and hot water that lasts longer—I’d even be willing to pay extra for it. There are “lighthearted” activities for kids, such as crafts, bedtime stories, sports, a kids’ disco, etc., plus playgrounds, a soccer field, and more. There are also sports activities for adults, such as yoga. On Saturday evenings, the disco runs until about 10:30 p.m., so it... doesn’t go on “until the wee hours.” The entertainment team, as well as the rest of the staff, is very friendly, and the campground is generally clean. There’s both a surfing school and a diving school, where they also offer introductory diving sessions for kids. The one-star deduction is for the cleaning schedule of the restroom facilities. - NNNina N.avgust 2026A great, family-friendly campgroundA beautiful, large campground with plenty of paths leading to lots of playgrounds (which are a blast for kids). We found the campsites to be very cozy and not too cramped; we were in the 700 block, so we had the beach right in front of us—that was great! The children’s entertainment staff were always... friendly and put together a great program. While the kids were busy making bread on a stick, the adults could enjoy a bratwurst sandwich and drinks for a small fee.
The restrooms were cleaned frequently; once a week there was even a deep cleaning with a 2-hour closure.

Absolutely nothing has changed at the campground over the years. There were hardly any activities or entertainment for kids ages 12 and up, and we were there during the school break. There was more to do in 2021. The store has hardly any... decent selection for shopping; you have to drive into Burg just to get some fresh groceries. That definitely needs improvement. It used to be better, too.
I absolutely cannot recommend the restaurant located on the campground. 1. Burnt fried potatoes—barely edible. The fish platter isn’t worth the money—the fish was fried to the point of being completely dry. The Margherita pizza was a total letdown—the cheese on top was totally burnt and tasted bitter.
After I complained, there was absolutely no acknowledgment that they’d made a mistake. NO GOODWILL—I returned more than three-quarters of a pizza. Even though it was full, there was plenty of space for our RV. Just 50 meters to the beach—what more could you ask for! The clean and spacious restrooms are especially worth mentioning. The only major drawback was that, while there are benches and a table in front of every camper for relaxing, ours was unfortunately constantly in the sun; a small sunshade would have been great.Otherwise, it’s a fantastic campground, just a short walk to the beach. This is our fourth year in a row here, and we’ve made friends at the campground whom we’ve been able to stay in touch with—even despite the distance—long after our vacation on Fehmarn has ended. Next year we’ll be spending our vacation somewhere else, because we... believe Germany surely has other beautiful areas that we don’t want to miss out on. On the one hand, we’re really looking forward to that, but on the other hand, saying goodbye this year was all the harder, so we’re already talking about whether we’ll come back in 2028. The campground offers a wide range of activities, so it’s never boring for us adults or for our daughter, who is now 8 years old. Nevertheless, the costs remain at an absolutely affordable level compared to other campgrounds. The owner and his team do a great job, so we have hardly anything to complain about. Cleanliness in the restroom facilities is often mentioned in the reviews, but I think the responsibility here lies primarily with the guests who aren’t able to keep things tidy and clean. The facilities are cleaned at least twice a day, which is perfectly sufficient; it’s not the cleaning staff’s job to clean up after the guests. The only thing that leaves a little to be desired is the hot water supply during peak hours.
