Simply the best!
The campground has everything you need. The direct access to the lake and the well-maintained lawn—despite the dry weather—are particularly noteworthy. You can bike anywhere you want. The area around the campground is beautiful. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the restaurant comes highly recommended.

A very clean and well-maintained campground, a great location for the campsites, very clean restroom facilities, and especially dog-friendly.

A beautiful, dog-friendly campground
We felt completely at home at this campground and can truly recommend it. The entire site is very well-maintained and clean, and dogs are also warmly welcomed here—a huge plus for us. 🐾

Our campsite was in a great location, very close to the laundry and restroom facilities. These were very clean and... well-maintained throughout our entire stay.

We especially loved the dog-friendly atmosphere. You can really tell that four-legged guests are welcome here. 😊

We really enjoyed our time here and felt so at home that we’ve already booked our stay for next year. That pretty much says it all! 🥰

SMALL, CHARMING, QUIET — A CAMPER'S DREAM
We stopped here for two nights during our road trip through Bavaria and Austria in our camper van (lake-hopping). We were given a spacious spot in the second row from the lakeshore, with a beautiful view of Lake Millstadt and the magnificent mountain scenery. The location is a perfect starting point... for cycling and mountain biking tours, as well as beautiful hikes in the nearby Nockberge Mountains. Top tip: Visit the Alexanderalm, the Schwaiger Hut, and the Millstädter Hut!!!
All in all, a definite recommendation for peaceful, active, fun, and relaxing days.

Very nice campground!
It's a small campground, very clean and tidy, with easy access to the lake. We were there in July, and the lake was warm; everyone was swimming and stand-up paddleboarding. You can rent bikes in town and ride around the lake.

A beautiful campground right on the lake
We felt very comfortable. Despite the many campers, it was very quiet by 10:30 p.m. at the latest. The location by the lake is indescribably beautiful.
The selection of informational materials about activities is outstanding.
The only thing we missed: there’s only one restroom in the lower area. It... would be very helpful to have a place to wash dishes there, since walking all the way up with a lot of dishes is a bit of a hassle.

The campground is very clean.
So are the restrooms, although one or two campers apparently don’t know what a toilet brush is.
Sad.

We’d love to come back.
The value for money is acceptable.

We really enjoyed our stay at Camping Neubauer on Lake Millstatt. The campground is located in a beautiful and peaceful setting right on the lake. We especially loved the family-friendly atmosphere, the friendly hosts, and the well-maintained grounds....

We felt very comfortable there and were able to truly enjoy our vacation. The location is also ideal for exploring the beautiful surroundings—whether by bike or by car.

A really nice campground
We really enjoyed our stay at Camping Neubauer. The quiet location and well-maintained grounds immediately create a relaxing atmosphere. We were particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the restrooms and the friendly, helpful owners, who take the time to look after their guests. The campsites are... spacious and offer plenty of privacy. The surrounding area is also perfect for lovely walks and day trips. Overall, we felt very comfortable and were able to enjoy our vacation to the fullest. We’d love to come back.

Right on the lake. On-site bread delivery service and restaurant. Thanks to its slight slope, it offers a beautiful view of the lake. Clean restroom facilities and incredibly friendly, kind, and very hardworking staff. A very nice bike path around the lake runs right by the campground. Also great for people with dogs, since there’s a dedicated dog shower.

The parking lot for registration could be better signposted. It’s not visible until very late, and there’s a lot of traffic due to beachgoers driving through from the beach. The access road is very steep and a bit narrow for longer vehicle combinations. The registration parking lot for vehicle combinations is also a bit narrow, especially when it’s busy.
A quiet campground with a beautiful view
We really enjoyed our vacation here. We felt very comfortable. The lake is never far from any of the campsites, and there’s a large sunbathing area. You’ll definitely need a car for shopping, since the nearest supermarket is about 4 km away. (It’s a very hilly drive.)
