If you are in the lower rows, you should be able to walk well, as the wash house, the restaurant, the garbage dump and the reception are at the highest point of the site.
Favorite spot by the lake
A family-run campsite, very friendly, uncomplicated and above all (usually) quiet, with a large sunbathing lawn by the lake directly adjacent to the campsite.

It is a quiet not overcrowded place with everything you need, the sanitary facilities are a bit outdated but always clean (for some piglets the operator can not do anything) Praiseworthy is also the staff always friendly especially the lady at check in. We will certainly come back.

Friendly operators, very clean and well-kept sanitary facilities.
Fresh water in many places.
Fantastic view and access to the lake.
The price-performance ratio is absolutely right here.

Quiet location directly on the lake, lido right next door, very clean and well-kept, directly on the lake cycle path, hiking trail nearby, jetty within walking distance, daily bread roll service, very friendly operators

No shopping facilities, restaurants etc. on site. But everything is in the immediate vicinity
Very nice and quiet place
Simple campsite without "chic", tree population, quiet location, everything very well maintained and clean, mobile home very well equipped, very friendly operators, would love to come back again

Camping Neubauer
A very well-run campsite with lovely little things along the way. Clean sanitary facilities and good home-style cooking. Located directly on Lake Millstatt with direct access to the lake and a sunbathing lawn by the water. Ideal for swimming, but not for small children.

We were able to get on the pitch at 8am.
Since it was only a short vacation for us, we had everything with us.

If you stay longer then you have to go shopping in the car or on the bike because unfortunately there is no... supermarket in the immediate vicinity. I don't see that as such a negative thing because in the age of the internet you know that.
I don't need a supermarket on site.

The operator even provides cable reels if you have too short a connection.

Everything was fine for us.

We will definitely be back next season.

Nice smaller campsite right on the lake
A very nice small campsite on Lake Millstadt. The terraced pitches offer a view of the lake from everywhere. In the small restaurant you can enjoy a delicious meal and order and collect bread rolls. The sanitary facilities are clean and offer everything you need, even a small built-in baby bathtub. Washing machines are also available. You can stock up on regional delicacies in the farm store vending machine.

Great location on the lake, fantastic view, direct access to the water, was lucky in September and could still go swimming, super nice camping operators, always open to questions, pitch could be chosen by yourself, extension no problem, everything well maintained and clean, wonderful old trees (walnuts) on the slightly terraced area, would love to come back.

The best form of wellness vacation worldwide
We've been coming here for 15 years and feel better every time........anybody our age raves about wellness hotels, but we find immersing ourselves in the warm autumnal waters of Lake Millstatt, enjoying the peace and quiet and sunshine at the campsite, a cool drink in the boathouse and a lake fish burger in the evening a true wellness feeling......but please don't tell anyone......

The lighting in the shower area is unfortunately so poorly controlled that I was often standing in the dark while shaving.
Vacation at Lake Millstättersee
Unfortunately there is no possibility to shop on site.
However, bread rolls are on sale. The site is located directly on the lake and has its own lake access.
The sanitary facilities are good and clean.

Vacation Camping Neubauer
We have already been to Neubauer about 10-15 times.
Always when we are totally ready for a vacation and don't want to think about a new destination.
Hardly anything has changed since our first stay, at least not for the worse.
Only stayed there for 5 nights this year as we were traveling on to Italy.
Otherwise, we would stay at Camping Neubauer again at any time.

Complaining at a high level: Pitch no. 105 was very soggy and muddy after 24 hours of continuous rain, it was very soggy and muddy in places, as there was no grass left. A thin layer of gravel would be great here.

A very nicely laid out campsite in great surroundings and with - depending on the pitch - a great view of the lake. Everything you need is available and affordable.
The sanitary facilities are not the most modern, but perfectly fine, always clean and spacious. There is plenty of hot water in the showers. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I have already recommended the campsite to our friends.
