The Wi-Fi could use a little more bandwidth.RatingThe campground is right on the lake, so you can go for a nice swim every morning. In the morning, you can buy fresh baked goods at the restaurant.
We had very nice neighbors.
Overall, the campground is nice and quiet—perfect for relaxing.
This was our second time here, and we highly recommend it.

The entire campground looks well-maintained.
It might be a little too boring for teenagers, since there’s nothing going on. Such a harmonious campground. Everything is clean, well-planned, and just right. Plenty of space for everyone. Direct access to the lake view. A great starting point for bike rides and... hikes. Very kid-friendly, even though I was traveling without children. And it was great to have live music every Thursday—I really enjoyed it. Well, all in all, it was my first time traveling alone, and yet I didn’t feel alone in this world of camping. We weren’t playing music, weren’t making any noise, and were talking at a normal volume. Our fellow travelers didn’t hear us!A Short Getaway by the LakeWe spent our long weekend here with another couple. We went cycling and hiking. The terraced layout is nice because we had a small view of the lake.
It would be helpful to know that if you’re assigned a site without trees, you should bring a tarp. Otherwise, at 32 degrees, you’ll melt in the sun (luckily, we had one with us). The sunbathing... area is nice, the beach next door is great, and the rental of various sports equipment is super convenient.
A ping-pong table or a basketball hoop would be great for teenagers.
It would have been helpful to have directions for the special bus (Nockl Bus) right on the main street. As a tourist, you don’t want to have to constantly read up on everything.
The Thursday program with a band, music, good vibes, and fun was really great. We saw people dancing. Our campsite was in a great location, very close to the laundry and restroom facilities. These were very clean and... well-maintained throughout our entire stay.
We especially loved the dog-friendly atmosphere. You can really tell that four-legged guests are welcome here. 😊
We really enjoyed our time here and felt so at home that we’ve already booked our stay for next year. That pretty much says it all! 🥰

We were given a spacious spot in the second row from the lakeshore, with a beautiful view of Lake Millstadt and the magnificent mountain scenery. The location is a perfect starting point... for cycling and mountain biking tours, as well as beautiful hikes in the nearby Nockberge Mountains. Top tip: Visit the Alexanderalm, the Schwaiger Hut, and the Millstädter Hut!!!

Fruit trees are planted between the campsites, providing plenty of shade. The campground is laid out in terraces, so you can enjoy a good view of Lake Millstatt in some areas.

The lake is wonderful for swimming and stand-up paddleboarding. The surrounding area offers many beautiful hiking trails with great views. The campground is beautifully situated right on the lake and is very well managed. There’s a large lawn that’s perfect for relaxing.
