- 5.0IIIlyas I.august 2026A wonderful camping vacationWe stayed with you for a week and really enjoyed our time there. Both upon arrival and departure, we were greeted and seen off at the front desk very warmly and with a smile.
Overall, our camping vacation was wonderful. There were so many great activities, especially for the kids. We particularly liked... the variety of playgrounds. Our kids also really enjoyed using the skate park.
The children’s festival was also a great experience, and the kids had a lot of fun. We also used the music rooms for a short while, and that was a particularly fun and enjoyable moment for all of us.
All in all, we had a truly wonderful time and would love to come back and camp with you again. Unfortunately, getting to the beach is nearly impossible to manage on your own with children and a dog.... The dog beach is the only place where you’re allowed to relax with both your dog and children, but getting there with toddlers—over stone walls and down a steep slope—is nearly impossible (and impossible with a stroller).

However, it’s generally too noisy, access to the beach is poor, and it’s not at all child-friendly. The nudist area is very poorly located; it should have separate access. Upon arrival, the site was covered in dog feces and smelled... terrible. The water faucet was broken; even after it was repaired, there was still a risk of injury, and the grounds staff was unprofessional.
Overall, overpriced.

Thank you very much for taking the time to provide such detailed feedback. We’re sorry to hear that, overall, our campground didn’t meet your expectations. We’re a large family campground with an extensive program of recreational activities and events. Especially during peak season,... things tend to get quite busy here. So, if you’re looking for a very quiet camping vacation, you might have a different experience here than guests who appreciate the wide range of activities we offer. Our beach is located below the cliffs, which naturally makes access a bit more challenging. We also cannot arbitrarily change the layout of the various beach sections—including the nude beach area. However, the fact that your campsite was soiled with dog feces upon your arrival is by no means in line with our standards. In such a case, we ask that you notify the front desk immediately so that we can address the issue promptly. Similarly, a broken faucet should, of course, be properly repaired. We take seriously the claim that a risk of injury persisted even after a repair and will pass this information on accordingly. However, we cannot accept the blanket criticism of our grounds crew. Our team works diligently every day to maintain our large grounds. If there was a specific incident, we are always grateful for your feedback. We regret that we were unable to win you over to our campground this time.

There were so many activities for the kids and for us. The kids’ circus and the children’s festival were sensational.

The entertainment was great :) and my daughter is now listening to the playlist over and over again :)
The restrooms were always clean and were cleaned regularly, though I can only speak from my experience in the main building right at the front :)

It had everything you could possibly imagine, so we didn’t even leave the campground and made the most of the time, the peace and quiet, and the activities there. There was something for each of us—the kids absolutely loved the countless playgrounds, as well... as the arts and crafts, the movie theater, the arcade, and the Heidebyhalle. We adults really enjoyed the atmosphere and were surprised by the spacious restroom facilities. Everything was clean, and everyone was very friendly. Everything was perfect for us. Our child had fun with the kids’ activities, and the adult activities were great, too. The campground was super clean. The bathrooms in the wash houses were nice and spacious.
Beautiful beach. The food at the campground was delicious, too. It was great that there was an Edeka right on the grounds.
