What Campers Should Know About Camping in Luxembourg
The speed limit in built-up areas is 50 km/h. Vehicles with a gross weight of 7.5 t can drive up to 90 km/h outside of built-up areas, and up to 130 km/h on motorways. If you’re towing a trailer or caravan, the speed limit drops to 75 km/h on roads outside of built-up areas and to 90 km/h on motorways.
Wild Camping is Prohibited
Like most other European countries, Luxembourg does not allow wild camping.
Changing Opening Times
The opening times for museums, castles and other points of interest change frequently in Luxembourg, and the times listed online may not always be up-to-date. If you want to be on the safe side, you may want to enquire before your visit.

Travel Cheaply with Public Transport
You can get pretty much anywhere in Luxembourg with busses and trains. Public transport is also affordable: A country-wide day ticket costs only €4, and you can bring your bicycle with you for free. Go ahead and leave your motorhome at the campsite for the day!
