"5 stars too high! - Toilets very clean! But sewer problems stank bestial!!!!!!!! Swimming pool seemed dirty to me everywhere doors and gates open always draught in the indoor pool. For me not a 5 star place Again I don't know? Staff and everything else was good.

"Great family CP - Sanitary facilities are getting on in years but super clean, heated and with disinfectant in the toilets. Swimming pool very good, everything else there, snack bar, small grocery store and discreet children's entertainment. I have the feeling that the proportion of mobile homes is increasing. The camper area is getting smaller and smaller. The site is currently being enlarged, all mobile homes - a pity.

"Definitely used to have 5 stars - Well the sanitary facilities are run down the shower heads are a joke as you have to hold the shower button. Everywhere it stinks of sewer. Have a nice playground in the upper area the lower playground should be closed due to safety deficiencies. My impression is that birkelt is building more and more rental bunkers and neglecting everything else for normal campers. There is nothing for dogs on the site except poop bags

"Beautiful camping for families - We were here for 3 nights over Ascension Day. Cost 40 euros per night for 2 adults + 1 child + caravan on a standard pitch. ----- Positive: the pitch was spacious, beautifully overgrown with hedges and old trees. - Despite full occupancy, clean and adequate sanitary facilities - friendly welcome and nice service in the small (expensive) shop. - Nice play facilities for the kids - great excursion possibilities within a 30 km radius ------ Negative: no late check-out possible, not even against payment, although the place was very empty - swimming pool very chlorinated, water polluted, very loud, overcrowded, despite full capacity only opening hours from 11-19.00 o'clock. Conclusion: Especially recommended for families with children.

"mobilhome - We had a mobile home for 4 pers. shower 2 beds and a double bed waten available. There were only blankets as covers. I advise you to bring your own bedding. In April there was unfortunately no horse riding for children, which was a pity and nobody tried to change anything. Many playgrounds and indoor playground. Swimming pool available, but very cold in April. The indoor temperature was also more for the hardy. Food available directly at the campsite, otherwise you have to drive. There is no BACKOFEN in the mobile home. Relatively small pots. Glass crockery. Separate shower and WC. All windows in the sleeping area have blackout blinds and fly screens. That was really good. Large covered outdoor terrace and garden furniture. Laundry rack, but no clothespins that you have to bring with you. Car can be parked in front of the mobile home. TV with some German programs.

Profile

In the Mullerthal, in the eastern part of Luxembourg, is where you will find camping Iris Parc Birkelt. A large 5-star campsite situated at the top of a hill, a few kilometres outside Larochette. The setting in the middle of …nature is an attraction but the campsite offers so much more. On this campsite you will find an excellent covered swimming pool and a large sunbathing lawn where you can enjoy relaxing in the sun or reading a good book. Luxembourg - a country with vast woods, picturesque villages and hilly vineyards. It looks a little like the north of France or the Eiffel, yet the country is called 'Little Switzerland' due to its steep rock faces. These were created by river water cutting out deep cliffs in the rocks. The Mullerthal is a good example of this. Visit the large ruin of the Beaufort.
