South Tyrol's Camping Paradise: Hiking and Biking Routes
South Tyrol's landscapes are balm for every camper's soul. The many valleys, peaks, forests and meadows invite you to take out your walking shoes once again during your camping holiday. On the old South Tyrolean Waalwege you can walk along the watercourses through unique mountain slopes and valleys.
Curious cows and absolute silence await you in the Pfossental, in the middle of the Nature Park Texelgruppe. Due to the variety of hiking trails, there is something for every camping taste. Easy paths for the camping vacation with children and hiking routes with a high degree of difficulty for active campers: in South Tyrol you are exactly right and nature lovers also get their money's worth here. Those who like to tread new paths with their four-legged friend are also very welcome to camp with dog in the region.
You can also let yourself be transported to the peaks of South Tyrol with the Mountain Railway and enjoy the view with a cool beer and a tasty snack on the next alpine pasture. A nice experience for children is the mountain railroad in San Candido in the Pustertal. Here it goes high up to an altitude of 1500 m in a child-friendly ski area. Active campers can look forward to the summit of the Kronplatz. From the Reischach valley station, the Kronplatz 2000 lift takes you up to 2,275 m above sea level. Already during the ride you have a unique view of Bruneck. At the top you can start the descent with a Mountainbike.
