Checking in at reception was professional and very straightforward and easy with the information sent by email. We were always served in a very friendly and courteous manner in the bistro and the children were also given a very warm welcome.

Everything was very clean and well-kept, including the grounds. The staff are very friendly and personable. The sanitary facilities next to the beautiful bistro are top, simply great! There is a very fine breakfast buffet and other delicious food and drink options. There is also a store with lots of useful items. The opening hours are posted at reception, but we don't go to reception every day.A beautiful, well-kept campsiteThe campsite was recommended to us and we weren't promised too much. The panoramic pitches are great, we had an unobstructed view of Lake Constance and sometimes also of the Rhine. Everything was spotlessly clean and the whole site is very well maintained. The view is very beautiful, especially from the large, spacious panoramic pitches. If you want to do something, you should be mobile, at least a bicycle. The region is very nice to explore by bike. Lots of facilities (swimming pool, pit-pat, table tennis etc.), quiet and elevated location. A bicycle is recommended for a visit to the beautiful little town of Stein am Rhein. But it is also easy to reach on foot. It is helpful to know that there... is quite an incline at the end. The bistro and shop offer tasty snacks and a wide selection of drinks. There is also a pub next to the campsite.

We have decided to visit this campsite more often. We really liked it.
Depending on the pitch, you have more or less free space/distance around you. Each guest decides for themselves.
