The landscaping throughout the entire property is high-quality and designed with love to be very nature-friendly. It’s great that there are clearly defined quiet hours at noon, as well as in the evening. The food at the bistro is excellent.NegativnoNext time we'll book earlier, so maybe we'll be able to snag a spot with trees where there's some shade . It was very hot in the tent at 33 degrees.A beautiful campground with a great viewThere are such great amenities at the campground and a large pool that you don’t even miss the lake. And besides, you can easily take a trip to the lakeside resorts, which aren’t far away.
The campground is great—it has a family-friendly atmosphere—and there are some really beautiful views of Lake Constance... from various spots. You really feel like you’re away from everyday life and truly above the stress and problems.
It does you good, even if it’s just for a few days.
Unfortunately, our tent was old and the thunderstorms were severe, so we had to head home a day earlier than planned.

The huge window and the view it offered directly onto Lake Constance were breathtakingly beautiful. The decor was incredibly tasteful. Every detail had been thought through, down to the smallest one. Take the built-in sound system, for example! The grounds offered... a variety of amenities, such as a pool, plenty of washrooms and restrooms, barbecue areas, and more. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating.

The booking system was good, with quick responses and confirmation of the reservation. I received all the information in advance. It’s a large campground, well-planned, and has everything you need. Beautifully situated with plenty... of sunshine, and a stunning starry sky at night. Compared to the overall size, the backpacking tent area is rather small, but it’s nicely located on the edge of the campground. There aren’t many trees providing shade. The restaurant has a modest selection—no fries for kids—but overall, it offers good value for the price. Friendly staff who speak common foreign languages fluently. The restrooms near the main building are beautiful and spotless. The location is simply outstanding—just a few minutes from Lake Constance, yet wonderfully peaceful. It’s exactly the right place to unwind and enjoy nature.
The entire campground is extremely well-maintained... and clean. We were particularly impressed by the state-of-the-art restroom facilities, which were always in impeccable condition. The swimming pool and the lovely children’s playground also make the campground ideal for families.
The bistro is also highly recommended. The breakfast is excellent, and the other meals are fresh, delicious, and prepared with great care.
A big shout-out goes to the owners and the entire team. Everyone is exceptionally friendly and helpful, and their warm demeanor ensures that you feel welcome from the very first moment.

The grounds are extremely well-maintained and spotless. Overall, it’s a very beautiful, quiet location with great views. The lack of public transportation access is a bit of a drawback. A good option would be, for example, a shuttle service to... Stein am Rhein or at least to the Eschenz train station. Departures every 30 minutes by advance reservation, with pickups at the mentioned locations also by reservation at specified times. We’ve already had the opportunity to take advantage of such services—free of charge—for example, in Menton on the Côte d’Azur.

Our pitch "die grosse Freiheit" (the great freedom) leaves nothing to be desired. You have to think about staying on the pitch or going on excursions;-)
The sanitary facilities and the entire campsite are very clean and well maintained....
The camping team is very friendly and helpful.
The grocery store was well stocked, you didn't have to order fresh bread in advance and even if you shopped a little later, you still got what you needed.
The restaurant, small but nice and of the highest quality!
Excursions, on foot to Stein am Rhein or by bike on the very well signposted cycle paths along Lake Constance, all very nice and recommendable!
