The campsites are spacious and well-laid out. The swimming areas are great for kids because the water slopes gently. The staff is very friendly.
Kids can let off steam at two small playgrounds, and they can also play soccer, volleyball, table tennis, and more.

We were once again very satisfied and feel right at home! You’re all just great! The campground is clean and offers plenty of things to do. The restrooms are clean and tidy. If campers would follow the rules, there would be more trash cans, but since all the trash ends up there instead... of being taken to the containers up front as instructed, there are very few available. I think everyone has time while camping to take their trash up front to the containers. We’ll be back, and we’ve already booked for 2027! We booked and paid in advance. Thanks to license plate recognition, the gate opened for us even though the front desk was still closed. We found our campsite quickly and set up there. We checked in later, and placed our bread roll... order as well. Since everything had been paid for in advance, we packed up the next morning and headed out. There’s a lot to do there, and you can keep yourself thoroughly occupied. We especially liked that the colored wristband gave us free admission to the beach. A real bonus. The staff on site is super friendly and helpful; you feel right at home. Whether you’re traveling with a tent, trailer, or RV—there’s a spot for everyone here. The recreational opportunities around the lake are also great, from swimming to a leisurely stroll.
For us, this is definitely a place we’d love to come back to. Schwerin isn’t far away, and Wismar is also easily accessible. The restroom facilities are new and clean. On the tent field, there are restrooms for quick stops and a place to wash dishes. The campground isn’t very large. The beach has lifeguards on duty. You can walk several meters into the water before it gets any deeper. Ideal for younger children.NegativThe description online suggests that the beach—which also serves as the town’s outdoor swimming pool—closes at 6 p.m. during the early season. So you can’t go for a walk along the water. Outside the beach area, a belt of reeds surrounds the lake. The tent field is located right next to the through road and is visible from the street.
