The consistently good atmosphere on the field

There was nothing to complain about

We really enjoyed it. The gate is always open, so we were able to drive onto the campground at any time. We haven't experienced that at any other campground. Great.

Maybe it would be possible to put a trash can in the area where you wash dishes so you can clean the strainer or throw away rags.

Not for us

The campground is centrally located, making it a great starting point for exploring the surrounding area. Schwerin isn’t far away, and Wismar is also easily accessible. The restroom facilities are new and clean. On the tent field, there are restrooms for quick stops and a place to wash dishes. The campground isn’t very large. The beach has lifeguards on duty. You can walk several meters into the water before it gets any deeper. Ideal for younger children.

The description online suggests that the beach—which also serves as the town’s outdoor swimming pool—closes at 6 p.m. during the early season. So you can’t go for a walk along the water. Outside the beach area, a belt of reeds surrounds the lake. The tent field is located right next to the through road and is visible from the street. At night, you can hear the highway.
