We were out and about a lot by e-bike, there are very nice cycle paths. We particularly recommend a trip to Schwerin. It's a great city with a fantastic castle. There are shops of all kinds nearby in Neustadt, there is a small store in the reception, and the bread roll service is also at home here. Also worth mentioning is the restaurant "Am Rand", about 3km away, with nice staff and great food at reasonable prices.
