- Michael D.August 2025PlusuriLarge parking spaceMinusuriThe sanitary facilities are small, but very new and in perfect condition and very clean.Beautiful placeWe are new to camping and I don't have any comparisons. We found the site pleasantly structured and clearly laid out. The cleanliness and tidiness were also good everywhere. The crowd was mixed and pleasant. The site seems to be particularly popular with dog owners, but it wasn't a problem as everyone... kept to the rules. The water and electricity connections were very easy to reach and the flat-rate electricity billing is practical, without meter reading and billing. Just drive off on the day of departure. Access to the beach is free of charge and it's a lovely facility, especially for small children as the path into the water is very shallow. We were out and about a lot by e-bike, there are very nice cycle paths. We particularly recommend a trip to Schwerin. It's a great city with a fantastic castle. There are shops of all kinds nearby in Neustadt, there is a small store in the reception, and the bread roll service is also at home here. Also worth mentioning is the restaurant "Am Rand", about 3km away, with nice staff and great food at reasonable prices. Overall, a clear recommendation for the site from my point of view.Tradus automat.

Neustadt Glewe is a very pretty little town. There is also a nice restaurant at the weir with a very good chef.

There is live music at the bathing lake from time to time and you can treat yourself to drinks and food.

An absolute highlight on Sat/Sun from 13:00... - 17:00 is the cake and pastry buffet in the event house.
There were at least 15 delicious cakes to choose from.
The campsite is run very professionally, everyone is very friendly, everything is clean and well organized.
Sanitary blocks new and very pleasant. No annoying shower coins, where you run out of water when lathered up. Nice lockable single cabins, all very comfortable and very clean.
Very perfect for dogs, as the lake is very shallow for a long time and you can walk around in the lake for a long time even with small dogs. S P.August 2025PlusuriVery quiet areaMinusuriFew showers, and few toilets for men.Beautiful campsiteThe site is in a very quiet location. We stood at the fence to the street side, had my concerns but these concerns were groundless. The adjacent road is very quiet. The lake is a dream. Also nice for dog owners who can enjoy a section in the forest by the lake. Unfortunately, the local residents are... always bothered by the fact that dogs are allowed there. Well, there's nothing you can do about it. The place was very nice. The operators and staff were very nice. We arrived a day earlier but was absolutely no problem. Unfortunately very difficult to reach by phone.
It was really great that the children could take part in swimming lessons in the lake. You can also go pedal boating on the large lake, but unfortunately the prices are quite high. The showers are unfortunately very few for the huge space, in the evening hours you sometimes stood outside, waiting time very long.

Petrecere până la ora 1:00 a.m. și vecini care fumau jointuri în rulota noastră, deși erau copii acolo. Toaletele din noua spălătorie de la Golful Midiilor erau mereu murdare de fecale. Curățarea de două ori pe zi nu ajută aici. W-Lan a fost un dezastru totalNu mai mult de 1 săptămânăAm fost acolo timp de 2 săptămâni. Deoarece nu există nimic în afară de plajă, este foarte singuratic și pustiu în zonă. Nu am recomanda să stați mai mult de o săptămână.Tradus automat.

Playgrounds for the children to run around in.
You actually have everything you need on vacation there.
One suggestion for improvement is for people like us who don't have a camper... and are traveling on foot or by bike.
A possibility to cook on a small plate and maybe a fridge in which you can freeze your ice packs. So that people without electricity can also keep their food fresh.
The campsite is very nice, there is plenty of shade and a barbecue that you can use. There would be enough space next to the sink in the small wash house for something like a small outdoor kitchen.
A few groceries would also be great that you could buy directly. As the shops are not exactly around the corner.
