The restroom facility is about 150 meters away, where you can dispose of wastewater and use the restrooms. Fresh water is available at many faucets, which... are well distributed throughout the campground. The restroom facilities are all top-notch—very clean and modern. There are two restaurants on the campground that are highly recommended. We had a wonderful and very relaxing stay at your campground. What always strikes me is how quiet it is. I especially enjoy that.
As for the washrooms, there’s nothing to complain about. Everything is great and clean. The cleaning crew does a great job.
We went to the Anker Bar once to grab... a bite to eat. We found the plastic plates a bit odd. It gives off a “cheap” vibe. I’d love to see real dishes—for a deposit, of course! The food was good, but the plastic took away from the experience a bit.
What annoyed us a bit at first were our neighbors with three vehicles (across the hedge). They were loud until very late at night—though it was just conversation. Okay! People get together and want to have fun. That’s fine, too! But it went on every evening for a whole week, lasting into the night. When it’s so quiet at the campground, loud laughter and men’s voices really stand out.
Okay! This time it happened to us.
One more question about the trash! Why isn’t trash sorted at the campground?
Is it for financial reasons?
One more specific concern:
I had a very nice conversation with one of the ladies at your front desk. The staff—both men and women—were very kind and made an effort to address my concerns. But I was told that this year’s vacationers were very unfriendly, aggressive, and demanding. I can’t understand that. All of us who visit this or other campsites in our vehicles are living on the sunny side of life. Why are people so dissatisfied? And why do they have to take out their frustration on the campground staff?
Everything can be resolved through friendly and polite conversation.
The reception staff sometimes reaches their limits, especially after a summer season like this. Yes! It’s a job where you’re always supposed to be friendly. But they’re people with feelings, too.
So, a plea to the guests! Take a step back. Be friendly, and look forward to your vacation at this beautiful campground by the sea. Shake off your worries, and don’t take them out on the campground staff or your wife.
If we were all a little friendlier and didn’t have so many demands, our interactions would be much better.
Warmest regards to the entire campground staff, who all do a great job of ensuring we guests have a wonderful vacation. A big round of applause and thanks for that.

The spot on the cliffs was beautiful. The only thing that bothered me was that, as at many campgrounds, you still need small change to use the shower.... A card that’s billed at the end, or even a flat fee paid in advance for using the showers, would be more convenient. But this wasn’t really a problem. I was very satisfied.

A beautifully located and well-maintained campground, clean restrooms, a well-stocked self-service supermarket where you could always get fresh rolls in the morning. The food at the Belvedere Restaurant and the Ankerbar was delicious. The entire campground staff... was super friendly.
The only thing that could be improved, in my opinion, is the facility for chemical toilet disposal and cleaning—there are definitely better options out there.

That might make sense during peak season, but in the off-season, it’s a bit
excessive.
When I asked about the check-out time during the off-season at the end of September, they were kind enough... to extend it to 10:30 a.m.
That could be better, especially since my experience over the past 10 years has been different.
The lighting along the path between the comfort sites and the supermarket could be improved.
When it gets dark early, it’s easy to stray from the path. I think improving the power supply is a good idea. This might prevent campers from leaving their air conditioners running all day while they’re not even at their sites.
I’m aware that the campground isn’t responsible for the beach, but even if the beach area is to be left to nature, the city administration might want to reconsider this decision. We had a great campsite.
That said, it’s safe to say that all the campsites are great and there’s something for everyone....
And of course, the campground’s location is truly wonderful and very inviting for walks and bike rides.

Due to natural conditions, there’s only one access point to the beach, which is mostly rocky; when the waves are high, the left-hand dog beach is difficult or even... impossible to walk on.
The food at the pizzeria is good, and the burgers are also highly recommended.
Rerik and Kühlungsborn are very touristy; there’s not much to see.
The bike paths are excellent.

The shopping options on the grounds were also pleasant. Above all, your entrance area with the beautiful lighthouse is a feast for the... eyes.
The restroom facilities—which are always important to us—were well-maintained, the campground itself is spacious, and for us as cyclists,
it’s an ideal location for exploring the surrounding area. In my opinion, the Wi-Fi connection could use some improvement. And the prices at the Belvedere Restaurant, where you have to pay an extra €3 for Parmesan. €5.90 for 0.5 liters of beer is also steep.The toilet paper in the restrooms isn’t great either—it’s the cheapest, single-ply, rough kind.
