- Harald H.септември 2025Vacation 2025 09 xCouple with dog. We had a wonderful vacation with lots of "run" on the beach and in the surrounding area. We visited Rerik, Kühlungsborn and Bad Doberan, all in great weather for the end of September. The campsite as a whole is very nice, clean and well-kept. The sanitary facilities are also like new and you look forward to visiting them ;-)
Only the access to the dog beach could be drier.

However, I have to say that the beach and the path to the dog beach are a disaster. A store on the campsite makes things much easier, as the campsite is 4 km from Rerik. We also really enjoyed the hiking and cycling trail directly from the campsite.
There is even a cinema that shows good movies - unique for us, who have been traveling to campsites in Europe for decades.

The location is great, there is everything you need e.g. a small store, a restaurant, a snack bar, clean and well-equipped sanitary facilities and much more.
We also felt very comfortable on our pitch. On the second day, we parked the camper van diagonally so that we had... more of the sun and could see a bit of the sunset through the trees. The trees make the pitch more sheltered from the wind.
From the campsite, you can quickly get to Kühlungsborn or Rerik by bike. You can also walk to Rerik along the beach or take the hiking trail above, which is very beautiful.

They were cleaned several times a day. Big praise to all dog owners, there were no dog droppings, although there were a lot of dogs on the site. The self-service market was also very good,... friendly service. And sufficient assortment. It would be advisable if there was a small bin in the washing cubicles for waste. Nobody can be held responsible for the poor condition of the beach.
