One of the best campsites on the Baltic Sea
An incredibly clean place that is second to none.
Great layout, really friendly staff, the Fischbutze is a blast, as you not only get a great selection of fish, but also gluten-free rolls.
The location of the campsite is the very best thing. You're right on the water and quickly on the Süsstrand and quickly in Burg.
For us, it's one of the best places if you want to stay by the Baltic Sea.

There is great WiFi reception throughout the campsite, so we could watch TV perfectly. It was very windy and cold so we spent a lot of time inside. All the better that our TV was working perfectly.

Perfect start to the season
We were here for the first time and were amazed at how extremely clean and tidy the whole place is. The roads and pitches are very well laid out so that you feel you have enough space and air. Even the dogs don't get in each other's way. We and our dog immediately felt welcome and comfortable. There... is a great dog shower and the dog beach is close by. You can go for walks or bike rides in all directions and it is beautiful. We booked again straight away and are looking forward to our next stay with our friends who recommended this place to us. And this won't be our last visit this year, we'll definitely come back a few more times. We are already looking forward to it. Have fun to everyone who would like to visit the campsite now ;-)

A very nice and well-maintained place. The reception was nice! The pitches are in very good condition. With a paved terrace on our pitch. Everything is in very good condition! The sanitary facilities are also very clean and in very good condition! We liked it very much!

Short trip over Easter
We really enjoyed our short trip over the Easter holidays. The infrastructure of the campsite and the pitches are very good and large enough. Everything is very well maintained. The sanitary facilities are also very clean and modern. The location is very good, you can go cycling or walking very well.... The campsite is right on the beach. The south beach and the town of Burg are not far away. We can also recommend a day trip to Grömitz and Dahme. The food in the Inselglück restaurant on the campsite is delicious. What bothered us a bit were the mandatory shower times until 22:00 or 23:00. The dishwashing times are also prescribed. We found the shower cubicles a little too small. But that's complaining on a high level. Overall, we can recommend the campsite, where you can enjoy a quiet break in beautiful surroundings.

Dream vacation at Unselcamp
This was our third time at the Insel Camp and it just keeps getting better. This place and all its people are unbelievably good and we will be back.

Great vacation with a cat
We arrived in the middle of the night, were able to spend the night on the forecourt and were already on the pitch in the morning.

A totally well-kept site, nobody cuts the hedges so nicely 😉. We got the pitch we wanted with our cat and it was great again. This time we not only visited the Fischbutze,... but also the Inselglück restaurant - it was a great end to our vacation.
It was windy, but with our awning we could still sit outside in the evening

10 stars, it starts at the reception, you get a friendly welcome, the sanitary facilities are very clean, the campsite has a small store that has everything. There is a restaurant and a stand on the beach with delicious food (fish sandwiches etc.)
Dogs are welcome (the main thing is that the owners can behave themselves and take their dogs off the pitch to do their business and don't leave them lying around).

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Insel-Camp Fehmarn

We were at Insel-Camp Fehmarn over Easter - with dog and bicycles in our luggage... and to be honest: it could hardly have gone better 😄

The site is clean and the sanitary facilities are in top condition. Even over the holidays, everything was well maintained - big praise... for that!

It was also perfect for our dog: lots of space, great paths and the Baltic Sea right on the doorstep - it couldn't have been better for two and four-legged friends 🐶

The island is great to explore by bike. We felt like we were out and about more than we were on the campsite - but that's what makes it so special. Then come back, relax and simply enjoy.

The location is unbeatable anyway: just a few steps and you're on the beach. It's just really nice, especially at Easter.

Conclusion: Perfect for anyone who wants a relaxed camping vacation with a dog and lots of exercise. We will be back

A great Easter vacation
An all-round great stay! We were particularly impressed by how dog-friendly the resort is - you really feel welcome with your four-legged friend. The modern fitness room invites you to work out, and the very well-equipped, extremely clean showers leave nothing to be desired. Overall, everything looks... well maintained and extremely clean. A real highlight for families is the fantastic children's playground, where the little ones can let off steam. Absolutely recommendable!

The location is absolutely perfect, there is a sauna, the toilets and washroom are super clean. The supermarket on site has everything you need for your daily needs. There are dog showers and a super tasty fish snack bar. Everything is within walking distance. The beach is wonderful and the staff/reception are all very nice.

A feel-good oasis for everyone
We were in the Oasis area with our caravan. Our wish to be near the sanitary facilities was fulfilled immediately. We had the perfect pitch. Our dog and we felt very comfortable. Everything is very well-kept and the statues that are everywhere on the site round off the look. The fish sandwiches at... the snack bar are delicious. There is a lot on offer. There is a great playground for children. A small supermarket and a restaurant. There is a gym and various saunas, which we also used during our stay. Highly recommended all round, it's also the perfect base for excursions or long bike rides.

Very nice location. The whole complex is so beautiful and well maintained. The sanitary facilities are clean. The restaurant serves very good food, including takeaway. In the small store there is a wide range of things that you need quickly. The playground is really well laid out.

Absolutely fantastic
An absolute dream campsite. You arrive and feel at home. You can go on lovely walks. As far as Burg if you are a good walker. The beach is also very nice and of course the fish sandwiches. We will definitely be back. Just hopefully not in a storm and rain. We can only recommend the place.

It is a very nice, well-kept campsite right on the Baltic Sea. A good starting point for beautiful tours by bike. The Fischbutze and the restaurant were great. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. You can get everything you need in the supermarket. Also there the staff was very nice. Very dog friendly!

Great interplay of all factors
The campsite impresses with its absolute clarity. We deliberately chose this campsite on our last visit to Fehmarn because it seemed sunny, close to the beach, spacious and very well maintained. And that proved to be the case. We stayed there for 12 days and felt very comfortable. The restaurant is to... be recommended and is indeed an "island delight", the beach is well maintained, the camping store & sea is well stocked and broadly positioned. Everything is there. Great play facilities for children and the location is ideal for cycling tours, visits to the beach or long walks. The well-kept grass pitches were the deciding factor in our decision. In addition, the sanitary blocks are clean, well-equipped and centrally located. Although we were there in the low season, we wanted for nothing and the friendliness of the team was remarkable. A completely relaxing vacation. Thank you for that.

Island camp anytime again
We arrived on 24.09.25 with our dog at midday. Unfortunately we had to return home in the evening as our dog was very unwell. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to him on 25.09.25. The next day we phoned the reception staff and were told immediately that we could make up for the time we lost on the... return journey with our sick dog. We then went back to the island camp on 28.09.25 and made up our vacation by 05.10.25. Unfortunately without our beloved dog. That was not a matter of course for us.
We can only say how exemplary and empathetic the staff were towards us. Many thanks again.

The location is incredibly beautiful, close to the sea, cycle paths available, shopping, shopping and eating out all in the immediate vicinity.
