Large, very well-maintained campsites. Right on the beach, with a bike path right next to the campground. The showers, restrooms, and dishwashing area were very clean; everything was cleaned repeatedly throughout the day. Fischbutze (always fresh, delicious fish sandwiches)

It's too bad the bar tent was only open once a week. We didn't go to the Inselglück restaurant; in my opinion, this restaurant is simply too expensive for a campground.
Great campground
Otherwise, we would definitely recommend the campground. It was always very quiet—pure relaxation. The location right on the beach is also great. The adjacent bike path, from which you could set off in any direction, was also great.

I wouldn't book a seat in the front rows facing the ocean anymore, because the seagulls there are very bothersome and noisy.

Quiet Days on Fehmarn
It’s always a pleasure to stay at the Inselcamp on Fehmarn. The friendliness and excellent facilities in every area are outstanding.
The restaurant and the Fischbutze on the beach serve food of superb quality.
In short, we can only say:
Once you’ve stayed at the Inselcamp, you’ll always want to stay there.

A beautiful, spacious campground with a variety of plot layouts. Very clean and modern restroom facilities. A few kilometers from Burg, with a good network of bike paths in the surrounding area. The campground is right on the beach. There’s a restaurant and a fish stand right on the campground grounds, both offering excellent food. The store has very convenient hours and offers a wide selection of fresh bread rolls without the need to order in advance.

I think it would be nice to have another multi-function strength training machine in the gym, in case several people want to work out at the same time. The dog beaches aren't very big, which I thought was a bit of a shame.
A beautiful spot right by the ocean
I was there for a camping gathering and felt very comfortable. Clean restrooms, well-maintained paths, and a beautiful setting for walking the dog. I highly recommend this campground.

A Lovely Getaway by the Sea
If you’re looking for a beautifully located, dog-friendly campground by the sea, this is the perfect spot. It’s clean and well-maintained every day. There’s a small fish stand right at the entrance to the beach where you can grab a quick snack. In the evening, you can wind down the day at the adjacent restaurant. A small self-service market takes care of your everyday needs and provides fresh rolls in the morning.

Great Vacation
We had to drive over 700KM to get there, but it was well worth it.
It’s a very beautiful campground where you can really relax. The restrooms were clean at all hours of the day and night. The grounds are also very well maintained. We were very impressed by its location right on the Baltic Sea and its... proximity to the beach. The bike paths are very well developed for cycling tours. We also really liked the recreational offerings, including the sports and playgrounds. Despite it being the holiday season, with many children around, we hardly noticed any noise.
In a nutshell: A great, relaxing vacation. We’ll be back!!

We’ve been coming to this beautiful campground every May for over 9 years now, and we never get tired of it.
The beautiful and peaceful setting always recharges our batteries. Everything is well-maintained and always clean.
The access road is always a bit “challenging” and is slowly in need of repair....
The Wi-Fi still has a lot of room for improvement.
Unfortunately, it’s not possible to book immediately for next year. It’s also a shame that the front row can only be booked from Saturday to Saturday, which was a bit of a hassle this time due to the holiday.
We’re really looking forward to next year and will be happy to visit and enjoy the place again with friends this time.

Every Year Again - Island Camp -
The Insel-Camp is a must-visit every year. Beautiful, well-maintained sites; clean restrooms (hardworking and helpful staff); right by the sea; within walking distance (2.5 km) of Burg-Tiefe and the South Beach; clearly separated dog-friendly and dog-free areas. Restaurants and a fish stand right on... the campground, plus a mini-shop for essentials. When it comes to “quiet,” it depends on the season. Lively over Pentecost, but a quiet oasis shortly after. Perfect!

Great campground
This was our first time traveling in a camper, and we really liked the campground. It was recommended by friends. Our kids had a lot of fun and were usually out and about somewhere on the campground all day long—at the skate park, the soccer field, doing crafts in the tent, and so on. It’s a beautiful, large, and clean campground just a short walk from the beach.

A Fantastic Short Stay at the Insel Camp Campground
This was our first time at this wonderful campground, and we were thrilled! We can confirm that all the campground’s advertised features are completely accurate. The campground’s location right on Südstrand with its own access—what more could you ask for?
The restroom facilities are in top-notch condition... and live up to the 5-star rating! We would have stayed longer, but had to leave early for family reasons—we’ll definitely be back!!!
The restaurant is also highly recommended—all in all, it’s fantastic!!
We weren’t surprised that various automobile clubs and campground reviewers give this place only the highest ratings.
We wish the operators/owners continued success and thank them for the great service!!
