Our pitch was sufficient for our 8.87 x 2.50 caravan with awning.
The sanitary containers and sanitary facilities on the main site were clean at all times. Camperclean is available... for 2 euros.
Bread roll service 365 days a year 😉, the nice employee in the self-service store told us. We particularly liked the milk knots and rose rolls. Good selection in the store.
Café with delicious cakes, also to go.
We visited the restaurant twice and were very satisfied both times with the quality of the food and the friendliness of the staff.
The overall cleanliness of the campsite should be mentioned, especially all around the "dog highways", little to no waste. Many dog waste bags/disposal stations are kept ready and replenished. There is a fenced-in dog run and dog beach.
The price in our time was 39.90/night, including pitch, up to 6 people, pets and electricity, waste disposal and showers on the main site. The pitches on the Elbe are large enough and the site is beautifully situated directly on the Elbe. Surprisingly good: over Easter, up to 6 people could stay in one vehicle/plot at no extra cost. The sanitary facilities are adequate and clean. Showers... in the main building cost nothing, on the banks of the Elbe you have to pay with chips (1,--€). Due to the location in the nature reserve, however, this is reasonable. The small store on site is well stocked. Unfortunately, we didn't like our berth in the harbor again this year. There are hardly any parking spaces for harbor berths. The barrier times or rest periods are an imposition in a harbor that depends on the tide.
Unfortunately, the situation has not improved in recent years,... quite the opposite. We have been here in the harbor since 1986 and don't know whether there will be another season for us.
