Pitch on the Elbe - far too few toilets, 2 per gender. I think there were three toilets on the Elbe side. Paths were littered with potholes where the water and mud had collected. I just found it a bit too expensive. Electricity and water were included, but you had to get tokens to shower. 1€ for 4 minutes.

We wouldn't necessarily recommend the restaurant. We didn't like it and it was quite expensive. Prices in the restaurant not adequate! In short, not again. We became aware of your campsite through a brochure at a trade fair. Great brochure. Reality rather mediocre. When booking, the MA should have pointed out that Elbe 9.5 is opposite the toilet. Therefore price and performance rather poor. We would like to briefly address your points: If you were affected by the noise at the wash house, we are very sorry! We would recommend that you book online next time, as you can choose a suitable pitch on the... site map (preferably close to the wash house or far away), depending on your needs. Our sanitary facilities are cleaned several times a day. We apologize to you if impurities cannot always be discovered and rectified immediately on a busy weekend! As our site is located in a nature reserve, it is unfortunately not possible to build additional or larger wash houses. Our main sanitary facilities offer enough space for all campers, even if it is a short walk away, and if you need to go quickly, there are the small wash houses at the Elbe sites.

We really liked the beach chairs on the shore, which we were allowed to use just like that.
However, there was a small restriction for us only on Ascension Day holiday: the loud music at the small marina was an imposition when we had to walk past this spot. constantly people who take your view in front of the Womo, dogs that run around freely despite the leash requirement and the crowning glory is the walk of about 300-350 m to the shower which must also be paid.

However, we can understand that all campers want to enjoy the view and sometimes sit on the beach with folding chairs.
Leashes are compulsory on the entire site, but unfortunately not everyone keeps to this. When... our staff become aware of this, we speak to the dog owners so that they put their dogs on a lead straight away.
You are right that it is a short walk to the main sanitary facilities. However, our Elbe dyke site is located in a nature reserve, which is why we cannot offer any additional or larger wash houses. Nevertheless, we are happy to be able to set up the small toilet blocks in this area if you need to go quickly.
