As the Elbe dyke area is in a nature reserve and there is no sewage system, we have to pump out the dirty water with a tank. That's why it's unfortunately not possible to provide our campers with unlimited shower... water, because then we can't keep up... By the way, in the main house you have 1 minute more water running time and can also stop the time in between. Maybe that's a tip for next time.

As our Elbe dyke site is located in a nature reserve and there is no sewage system, we are somewhat limited in our options and also by the requirements of the municipality. We are happy to be able to offer our guests the small wash houses on the Elbe if someone... is in a hurry. Otherwise, we recommend using the spacious sanitary facilities on the main site, even if this means a short walk across the site ;)

As our Elbe dyke site is located in a nature reserve, it is unfortunately not possible to provide more showers in this area of the site. The main sanitary facilities offer enough space for all campers, even if you have to take a short walk to get there....
We are already working on other points such as the lukewarm flushing water and the lighting, so that there will be an improvement here in the next few days.

We only had a stopover at the end of March, so we can only imagine the flair directly on the Elbe - but it looks very nice and makes you want to come back in the warmer months. The toilets are very clean and there are magnifying mirrors everywhere around... the washbasins. The washroom is heated and you need coins for the showers, which can be purchased in the entrance area. It is possible to check in outside opening hours via a machine, which makes it very easy to arrive if you are stuck in a traffic jam. The restaurant on site is highly recommended - good food and very friendly service. There are also vegan dishes on the menu.
