Your TCS-Sempach campground is great. The staff at the front desk are very friendly and speak French... Thank you! The restrooms are clean and well-maintained (and they’re even decorated).

Wonderful accommodations for people who want to try a different kind of camping experience. We (the grandparents) and our grandchildren really enjoyed it! Plenty of space for 4 people, practically equipped, and if you rent the bedding, everything is ready for you to feel right at home. The campground is very clean; the restrooms were also cleaned regularly and are in good condition.

Right on the water, centrally located

There is no quiet time at night; it’s always very noisy until after midnight. Unfortunately, the premium site we booked didn’t have either fresh water or wastewater connections on the plot. The plot doesn’t have much shade.

We had the misfortune of getting a nice, large campsite that was home to several ant colonies. Our tent was swarming with these ants every day, and no one could help us. You have to make sure your tent is ant-free on your own. It was exhausting trying to get the bugs out of the tent for a full two weeks. They don’t let you know when the code for the gates changes, so you end up standing there like an idiot in front of the gate that won’t open because you weren’t told the code had changed.

I thought it was great—I've been to a lot of campgrounds, but I was really pleasantly surprised.

Everything was fine

The campground is very beautiful and well-maintained. Campers are generally considerate of other guests and make an effort not to disturb them unnecessarily.

Unfortunately, there are also guests who come to party and don’t even follow the basic rules. We’ve unfortunately experienced this ourselves: people were shouting loudly, slamming doors, and playing music all night long—even at three in the morning.
