The campground is set in a very natural setting right on Lake Sempach, with direct access to the lake and a small beach, a swimming area with a large sunbathing lawn and a fine sandy beach right next to it—free access for campground... guests.
A big shout-out to the reception staff: very friendly, helpful, and absolutely guest-friendly. The entire facility is very well-maintained, with very clean restroom facilities available in sufficient numbers, and pleasantly spacious campsites.
Shopping options at the nearby larger supermarket (5-minute walk).
Since these aren’t operated by the campground, this isn’t a criticism but merely a note: the on-site restaurant and shop are absolutely not recommended—prices are high, quality is minimal; just your typical beach resort self-service.

Booking and payment were entirely digital and went off without a hitch. We received helpful information in advance via email. It wasn't a big deal—we just drove around it. ;-)The B-Turtle Project Was a Complete SuccessBefore we arrived, we received excellent advice on choosing a spot. We decided on a standard site for our tent. It was a great, quiet location near the campground’s amenities.
This was our first time traveling with a B-Turtle bike tent. The project was a success, and we’ll definitely choose this way... of camping again.

However, we found the sites to be very small, with little space between them and our neighbors. And we had already booked a larger site, even though we “only” had an average-sized RV.
