( 10m wide) Rest only reedsNever againLocated in a nature reserve, which means that the front line of the lake costs the most and all you see is reeds! The mosquitoes are free. You can forget about swimming in the camp! You have to go to the public bathing establishment next door. There is neither a restaurant nor a store in the camp. Everything is outside the camp. The people at the check-in are snooty and very unfriendly. I, must be happy to get a place from them.

A short vacation on our doorstep. We discovered the tipis and pods in Seeland.
The only thing that could be improved has nothing to do with the camping.
The restaurant - the most beautiful place on earth, but the operator does nothing with it except turn it... into a canteen like in the old days. And the patio tent roof - well. What a pity!
Couldn't it be made nicer and loungier? It had so much potential.

The bungalows are great, there is a problem with the pods as they are arranged in a semi-circle around two fireplaces and tables. The site is beautifully situated directly on Lake Sempach, with a fantastic view of the water and the mountains. The pitches are well-kept, spacious and offer plenty of privacy. We found... the quiet, relaxed atmosphere on the whole site particularly pleasant.
The sanitary building is modern, very clean and was cleaned regularly - you can see the high quality of the TCS. The site is also ideal for dog owners: there are plenty of opportunities to run around in the surrounding area, beautiful walks directly along the lake and dog-friendly staff.
The location is perfect for exploring the region by bike or on foot. The small restaurant on site offers delicious food, and the bread roll service in the restaurant in the morning is another plus.
We really felt at home here and can recommend the campsite without reservation - whether with a camper van, tent or caravan.
