Everything beautiful, with attention to detail and very pleasant, with carefully thought out amenities such as coffee, tea and little touches that make the guest feel pampered.
Upon our arrival... we were greeted by a reception girl (brunette, with bangs, unfortunately we don't know her name) who was extremely kind, helpful and professional. She was the staff person we were most pleased to meet and who followed up with us in the best possible way.
Being celiac, I had already reported my condition. At breakfast, a waitress was very attentive and helpful, even going so far as to retrieve a sealed jam from a closed store, just to avoid any risk of contamination. A very appreciable gesture.
Unfortunately, lunch completely ruined the final part of our stay. In order to protect my health, knowing very well the issues related to contamination (I am also a tutor for the Italian Celiac Association), I deliberately chose a very simple meal: hard-boiled eggs, speck - naturally gluten-free - and vegetables sautéed only with oil, on a separate pan. My boyfriend, on the other hand, ordered a hamburger.
The problem was not so much the celiac disease itself, but the total confusion in communication. At first, I was brought cooked bacon instead of bacon. At our report, the waiter realized the mistake and another waiter intervened, asking again what I wanted; at that time I clearly reiterated that I wanted fresh bacon. Despite this, I was subsequently served raw bacon, which I felt was not correct or even appropriate to bring to the table. At that point, tired of the situation, I decided to eat only the two hard-boiled eggs and forgo the rest.
The intervention of the head nurse, named Rosy, unfortunately made the experience even worse. Her attitude was rude and unprofessional. We were told that the eggs would be offered and that we were the ones who had ordered the bacon and not the bacon, urging us not to make a fuss and to continue enjoying the day. The way we were told made us feel belittled and unheard.
I would like to point out that this was not an economic issue: the fact that the eggs were taken off the bill did not change anything. Instead, it was very unpleasant to be blamed for a mistake we did not make, especially considering that bacon was on the menu and that I would never order bacon. My boyfriend became understandably upset and the meal was ruined.
Our eggs were taken away at checkout, but I still paid for the cover charge and the rest of the lunch. A further unprofessional moment was when the manager asked us to point out which waiters had served us, saying she would "have a word with them"-staff management should remain an internal matter and not involve the customer.
We believe that a facility of this level should have a greater focus on managing celiac disease, including providing safe and simple solutions. Unfortunately, this episode ruined the rest of the day, so much so that we had to leave earlier than planned.
This is a pity, because the facility is splendid and the potential very high, but the service in the dining room and the way of handling the customer in delicate situations need definite improvement. The site is always great, as are the sanitary facilities and the store.
What we have noticed, however, is that the catering, especially the service, is getting worse and worse. The cuisine is still great. You have to... realize that it is, let's say, experimental cuisine. We like it very much.
We are always very curious to see what is conjured up in the kitchen.
We visited the restaurant twice during our stay.
On our first visit to the restaurant, only one of the two aperitifs we ordered arrived.
The wine cooler only arrived after several requests and the dessert menu didn't come at all...
On our second visit, we wanted the same white wine as the day before, but we didn't get it. Reason: The wine was warm,
they neglected to chill it.

Nothing is left to be desired here: the view is magnificent, our pitch was perfect, the pool area is nicer than in most spas,... the grounds are well maintained and lovingly designed throughout, a great store, so many offers from wellness to dog sitting! Really a place where you can stay longer without getting bored!
Unfortunately there is a small minus: we went to eat in the tavern Almhütte and were looking forward to a delicious pizza which unfortunately wasn't fulfilled... the staff were super nice but the pizzas weren't 5-star quality! Unfortunately, instant cheese in Italy is not an option and especially not on a margherita - that was a real shame...
