Andra R.юни 2025Caravanpark Sexten, well worth a visit.The food in the restaurant and taverna is high quality and tasty. Wellness department offers sufficient treatments and massages, swimming pool and sauna area fantastic. In the store you can find everything you need for eating and camping.
A big thank you to all the staff who made this great vacation... so enjoyable. From the young man in the store (name unfortunately forgotten) to Rosi and her team in the tavern, to the staff at the wellness reception and in the treatments, to the kitchen crew and the 2 employees at reception (from South Tyrol?), who were so friendly and helpful when we checked out with the member club points and the many vouchers. The location, the site itself and the peace and quiet here are great to enjoy. Disappointing are the prices in the restaurants of the place, these are out of proportion (schnitzel, corn on the cob, bread, salad, grilled shrimp,... Radler together for 2 people 72 €) was delicious but the price was completely off!
Sanitary facilities are too few (only 3 toilets in the Kristallbad) and need to be cleaned more often. Toilet paper is constantly missing. Even after informing the staff nothing happened after 3 hours. Disappointing for this place.

Also, the fact that the trattoria was closed took away from my ability to dine as I would have liked. The restaurant above in my opinion is not the best, both for the poor menu and the value for money. Also, in the outdoor sauna area, PLASTIC loungers have been placed that can be seen from the pool. We would love to come back and can recommend it with the following restrictions.
Winter camping ok there is snow and also ice but at least... the paths should be regularly gritted with usable grit. This was not done! Stairs to the washroom and the descent of the upper pitches were heavily iced every day, which means a risk of accidents. This is apparently accepted?
Very nice staff in the restaurant, only the person who handles the reservations (or even the upscale employee?)
of the restaurant came across as very arrogant, which we don't know from other establishments.
The quality and temperature of the food took some getting used to and was not necessarily worthy of a 5 star campsite.
We then always ate out and our expectations and our experience of South Tyrolean cuisine were once again put in a positive light.
Sorry if I write it so harshly but the points mentioned are intended to make you think and not come across as nasty, as the campsite is very beautiful and such shadows would not necessarily be necessary.

1. if there was a way to get on skis right from the camp, it would be nice to have it marked with directions.

Unfortunately, we have only had one problem for a few years. A very small number of guests have been partying very loudly, so that we can neither hear the TV normally nor have a proper conversation... in the caravan. There is nothing wrong with "apres-ski" and we are happy to see happy people. Ballermann music with heavy bass can be brief, but not the whole evening, especially not late into the evening on December 25th. They can celebrate Christmas in a different way without disturbing other people too much. Unfortunately, these individuals have no consideration for other people. There were many neighbors who thought it was terrible, but didn't dare to complain. We complained to the noisy people and it got better.
