I'd love to do it again
Very spacious and clean campsites. The restroom facilities are exceptionally clean and spacious, with plenty of storage space.
We had lunch at the restaurant for the first time in a long while and were thrilled by the culinary experience and the quality of the food.
We also noticed, while talking to... other guests who were traveling with their dogs, that it would be a dream if a small area were set aside for the dogs to play and run off-leash—that would be fantastic.

A really wonderful stay!!
We felt very comfortable at our campsite and throughout the entire grounds. The cleanliness and the friendliness of the staff deserve special mention!

One more thing to note: The region is very “hiking-friendly,” but unfortunately not very “mountain biking-friendly.” The many trail closures and the notably few bike trails make it rather unattractive for the ambitious mountain biker!

Expensive, not enough restrooms and dishwashing stations. The Kneipp trail and barefoot path are in poor condition!
Very nice, but with a few minor flaws
A beautifully landscaped campground that blends seamlessly into the valley and the natural surroundings, with different areas; clean and well-organized. Not enough washrooms and restrooms, especially for washing dishes. The admission price for the pool and sauna is too high, given that the campsites are already expensive. Good shop. Good play areas for children.

Relax and Relax
A fantastic stay, with hiking and relaxation. An exceptional spa and wellness area. Large campsites, and all the facilities were clean and comfortable.

A very nice stay

Wonderful stay (5 nights)
The trip there was stress-free, everything was very well organized, the campground was spacious, everything was clean, and there were plenty of activities to choose from—whether sports or shopping—and the staff was very helpful. We were completely satisfied with our stay!

We really liked the campground. The restroom facilities were always clean and in good condition. The wellness area was fantastic and perfect for relaxing after long hikes (the steam treatments were also great). The food options were also varied and good.

The campground is something special. The site is full of imagination and has been designed with great care. The facilities are fantastic, as is the spa area. The surroundings (views of the Dolomites, beautiful flora, and nature) are equally impressive.
The only downside: both restaurants leave something... to be desired. The staff tries hard, but doesn’t manage to provide truly good service—an uncomfortable atmosphere and, in some cases, inexperienced staff don’t go unnoticed by guests.

Overpriced—but in a prime location
Unfortunately, the Sexten campground did not meet our expectations and, in our opinion, is significantly overrated. We did not feel the value for money was there at all. We found it particularly baffling that, despite the already high nightly rates, there were additional admission fees for the thermal... baths, pool, and other amenities.

The restroom facilities were also in poor condition. They looked very worn out, and some of the showers had an unpleasant smell of urine. Even the premium campsites weren’t particularly well-maintained and were partly overgrown with weeds—which, in our opinion, doesn’t justify the prices charged.

Another example of the lack of maintenance was the barefoot trail. It was completely overgrown, and there were already tadpoles swimming in the water areas. Overall, this gave the impression of a place that was unkempt and neglected.

Check-in felt like nothing more than a mass processing operation. Unfortunately, there was no sense of a personal or warm welcome.

One positive aspect worth highlighting, however, is the beautiful location. Right behind the campground, there are great opportunities to walk the dog—that was a real plus for us.

Overall, though, the beautiful surroundings aren’t enough for us to make up for the poor value for money and the condition of the facility. We therefore wouldn’t book this campground again.

Beautiful location, well-maintained and clean. Everything in the pool and sauna areas was clean and very nice. The sauna infusions were great.

Excellent location
Everything was spotless. Friendly staff. A unique spa area. Great selection in the shop with a wide variety of items and fair prices. This was our second visit, and we'll definitely be back.

A beautiful campground.
A beautiful property equipped with every comfort, a well-stocked mini-market, swimming pools, a spa, 3 restaurants, a dog-washing area, and gorgeous, spotlessly clean bathrooms... The staff upon arrival were extremely kind and very helpful. We spent the afternoon at the gorgeous pool—it was incredibly relaxing. We had dinner at the tavern, where the staff was top-notch, and the pizza was excellent. We’ll definitely be back.

I thought it was really nice
It was absolutely wonderful staying with you, and the pool area was fantastic—but there were three small things I — the campsite hadn’t been mowed, and at the supermarket, the deli counter was practically empty for all 5 days and wasn’t restocked until Friday—same with the fruit section—and what I really missed was a proper receipt detailing exactly what everything cost. We only got a receipt where the costs weren’t clearly listed.
