The highway is very close by, and when the wind is blowing in the wrong direction, it gets noisy. - 5.0LALars A.Septembrie 2026We had a wonderful time there and would love to come back.The campground is small but charming. It looks very well-maintained. The groundskeeper/owner is there to help when you check in. He goes out of his way to assist, even with minor issues. The showers and restrooms are very clean and are cleaned daily. The atmosphere feels brand-new and not worn out. The... picnic area with its small swimming lake is quite nice, even though it was a bit too chilly for us to go swimming. Dogs are welcome guests (except in the cabins), and there are several waste disposal stations. There are also play areas for children. A tree-top adventure course and a golf course are right nearby. We’d love to come back, even though the campground’s location isn’t ideal. Depending on the wind direction, you can hear the nearby highway, and unfortunately, shopping options aren’t easily accessible on foot. We still really enjoyed our stay. A rare sight: there was a cloth in every sink for cleaning, so you could leave the sink just as you found it. We were lucky enough to enjoy breakfast in the Remise. The value for money is unbeatable.

The proximity to beautiful cities like Erfurt, Gotha, and Weimar—all great for day trips by car—is fantastic....
Afterward, you can enjoy the peace and quiet of the campground again.
When it’s hot, you can cool off in the small natural pool.
We felt very comfortable there.
If you’re looking for a lively, bustling atmosphere, this is definitely not the place for you.
There are restaurants in the immediate area—one at the golf course and two in the town of Mühlberg, as well as a small ice cream parlor in Mühlberg.
There’s no restaurant or beer garden at the campground.
On Friday evenings, they hosted a barbecue.
We found it cozy and pleasant that the campground wasn’t too huge overall.
If we ever want to visit Erfurt again, we’d definitely go back there.
There’s a bread delivery service and a small kiosk. The Norma discount store was 3 km away.
