Very quiet atmosphere and always friendly staff. Little to no disturbing driving noise (depending on wind direction) despite the A4 motorway passing within sight. Toilets and showers always clean... and state of the art. Punctual bread roll service, even Thuringian sausages can be ordered and are delivered. The reception also has a small selection of chilled drinks and a vending machine with coffee, hot chocolate and other drinks. On Friday there was food from the grill and the Remise was open. There you could spend a few hours in pleasant camper company and enjoy a nice drink. The beautifully furnished swimming pond is certainly a pleasant place to cool off in summer. We were pleased to note that there is no separate area for permanent campers on the site. Only a few isolated pitches were designated for this purpose and were used accordingly.
It was just a shame for us, as we were only on foot, that there were no shopping facilities on site.
