Since we had to take our dog with us at short notice and we had forgotten to register him, a solution was found that we could still get another pitch. The staff were all very nice and everything was very well maintained. You could hear the highway at night. Check in was quick, uncomplicated and smooth. Sanitary building always clean. And they always try to do what is possible here. It's great what the owner and his team have put together here - a place to feel good, absolutely recommendable. Keep up the good work. The bread roll service with the bread roll cupboard is a brilliant idea. For me, the swimming pond was very nice as I go into the cool water once a week all year round. The easy registration via the vending machine is also a great thing. My first impression was already very positive. Friendly staff, an intuitive self-service check-in and a well-kept site with good signage. Despite the weather, we were able to take advantage of some of the nearby offers. The proximity to... cities like Erfurt (20-30 min drive) also allowed us to put together an extensive bad-weather program. After the weather improved, the operators offered a buffet in the coach house. The atmosphere right next to the beautifully landscaped swimming pond was very inviting and made the drinks from the bar taste even better. The sanitary facilities were clean and the nearby highway could hardly be heard. The natural swimming pool is well laid out and equipped with loungers and a beach chair - vacation stop.

This campsite is just beautifully situated and yes, I was very impressed by the cleanliness of the sanitary facilities. Also that water, sewage and electricity are available everywhere. I do have one small point to mention though, this site... is not necessarily cheap! In my opinion, electricity could be included at this price and, of course, showers like at other international campsites. The noise from the nearby highway, which you can hear more or less depending on the wind, was not as annoying as some guests described. The advantage of the easy access easily outweighs this! The vast landscape and the area offer very good excursion destinations!
The chill-out in good weather at the Remise is awesome!

Despite the proximity to the highway - you could hear it outside but it didn't disturb us while sleeping in the caravan.

- Bernd L.Σεπτέμβριος 2025Super place with lots of peace and quietNice, clean campsite with spacious pitches. Priority, depending on the category even with well-kept lawns. Very quiet atmosphere and always friendly staff. Little to no disturbing driving noise (depending on wind direction) despite the A4 motorway passing within sight. Toilets and showers always clean... and state of the art. Punctual bread roll service, even Thuringian sausages can be ordered and are delivered. The reception also has a small selection of chilled drinks and a vending machine with coffee, hot chocolate and other drinks. On Friday there was food from the grill and the Remise was open. There you could spend a few hours in pleasant camper company and enjoy a nice drink. The beautifully furnished swimming pond is certainly a pleasant place to cool off in summer. We were pleased to note that there is no separate area for permanent campers on the site. Only a few isolated pitches were designated for this purpose and were used accordingly.
It was just a shame for us, as we were only on foot, that there were no shopping facilities on site.

It is a very nice campsite with plenty of space, very good and always clean sanitary facilities and very friendly and helpful campsite staff.
