On the one hand, this is due to the clearly formulated rules that are suitable for children and that are also enforced (waste separation, driving camping vehicles at walking pace so that children don't get hurt, correct animal feed, etc.), and on the other hand, the operators and staff treat you in a delightful, respectful, humorous and professional manner that is simply a pleasure to deal with. It is also noticeably important to the nurses and staff that holidaymakers are aware of the value of the campsite and that everyone makes sure we have a good time here. They enjoy their work (at least that's the impression we get here) and let the children and families feel it. Even shy children can buy their own ice cream here, they are met with a natural friendliness that makes things much easier for parents.Negative tingAfter a few vacations at Camping Sonnenland, we haven't really discovered any disadvantages. There is always something new and everything is wonderful.A dream come true for the perfect family vacationA camping dream for everyone.
Children can ride their bikes freely here and go into the many animal enclosures to feed the animals. After a few vacations, they already know some of them by name. There are pigs, donkeys, alpacas, rabbits, tortoises, kangaroos etc.
The bouncy castles, the pump track for... cycling, great for all active people.
The lake is very warm and has super soft sand, you can even go for a ride on a SUP, a dream under a little bridge, very idyllic. You can search for gemstones in the sand by the rabbit enclosure, which is a great idea. It's not overcrowded and there are almost always free pitches, the facilities are very clean and everything is easily accessible.
The staff are super friendly and they are very careful not to drive too fast, which means a lot to us.
If we wanted to stay longer on the day of departure, this has always been possible so far. The overtime is simply paid for on departure.
We parents can sit and relax in the meadow while our children have fun and can be free.
There is an indoor play area for rainy weather with giant Lego bricks, we also love the kiosk where we sometimes buy small meals, the staff there are also extremely friendly. The corn bath is perfect for giving the children a wonderful breadcrumb coating straight after swimming in the sea :-)
All in all, the best campsite from our point of view, without looking like an amusement park, without overdoing it. You feel welcome and are treated with an empathy that is extraordinary.
Our children come home after a vacation here dog-tired, with stringy hair, bruises, new friends, collected gemstones and dinosaur eggs and a head full of corn crumbs and experiences.

It should also be mentioned that we are quite different from most campers as we have 2 disabled children and 2 dogs, one of which is not necessarily the smallest of... its kind at 85cm shoulder height.
After just under a week at Camping Sonnenland, I can only say that this site is an absolute dream for families and is also a win-win situation for every dog and its owner, as our animal companions are very welcome here and not just tolerated as on many other campsites.
The bouncy castles and the water slide are really great and even in bad weather there are options such as the large corn pool and the XXL building blocks, which are a great diversion alongside the table football.
I would also like to mention the great petting zoo with rabbits and kangaroos, which is a real highlight and a great joy for the children.
In any case, we would like to thank you for these great 2 weeks of vacation and for allowing us to be your guests.
We can only recommend this place without reservation and would also like to recommend it to parents of children with disabilities for a wonderful vacation & a carefree time in a place where children can still be children, whether with or without a handicap.
