A paradise for animal lovers
Anyone who loves animals will instantly fall in love with this campground. Our children were thrilled every single day by their many encounters with the animals. Feeding and observing the various animals, in particular, made for unforgettable moments. The petting zoo was a daily must-visit, and we also... visited the other animal areas regularly. It’s wonderful to see how children here can learn to interact with animals in a playful way. At the same time, everything is lovingly cared for and kept clean. The combination of nature, animals, and recreational activities creates a special atmosphere that you don’t find just anywhere.

A stay that felt different
As soon as we stepped onto the grounds, a calm atmosphere took hold, which immediately helped us unwind. The children set off without hesitation and explored everything that caught their eye. Instead of constant planning, the day’s schedule just fell into place on its own. We realized how little it actually takes to be happy together. In the evening, we sat outside for a long time and felt that the day had been just the right length.

A paradise for the whole family
You can tell right from the moment you arrive that the Sonnenland Campground is something special. Check-in was quick, friendly, and completely hassle-free. Within just a few minutes, we felt welcome and were able to enjoy our vacation. The spacious campsites offer plenty of room and ensure that you... never feel cramped. We especially liked the different categories, so that everyone can find the right spot for their needs.
For kids, this campground is a true land of adventure. From the petting zoo and animals to feed to the giant water slide, the bounce houses, the lake, and the many play areas, there’s something new to discover every day. Our children were busy from morning till night and didn’t want to go to bed at all. Dog owners also get their money’s worth, as there’s a dog beach, off-leash areas, a dog shower, and plenty of opportunities for shared activities.
We were particularly impressed by the warmth of all the staff. Whether at the front desk, in the restaurants, with the housekeeping staff, or out on the grounds, we were greeted with a smile everywhere we went. This friendliness defined our entire stay and ensured that we felt comfortable at all times. The many free attractions make the vacation even more appealing and ensure that boredom never sets in.

A place where children's eyes light up
Our children were thrilled from day one. Every morning they woke up full of anticipation and were already planning what they wanted to do first. Sometimes they’d go see the animals, other times to the water slide, or to the big playgrounds. We especially loved that the children could keep themselves... busy all day without ever getting bored. At the same time, the entire resort was laid out so clearly that we always felt comfortable and safe. For us as parents, it was a great joy to watch our children’s excitement. They came back every evening with new stories and could hardly stop talking about them. It’s exactly these kinds of memories that make a family vacation unforgettable.

The vacation of your dreams
Sometimes you go on vacation just hoping for a few relaxing days. At Sonnenland, however, we got so much more. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted warmly and immediately felt welcome. Within minutes, the kids were off exploring and constantly finding new attractions they wanted to try out. It was... especially nice that every day was different. Sometimes the animals were the main attraction, other times it was the swimming lake or the many play areas. While the kids were off on their adventures, we were able to enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. In the evenings, we sat together at our campsite and reflected on the day’s experiences. It’s exactly this mix of activity and relaxation that makes for a perfect family vacation for us.

The children are laughing, the guests are relaxed, and the staff greet you with genuine friendliness.... This creates a special atmosphere that lasts throughout your entire stay. We felt right at home here from the first day to the last, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

Animal Friends You'll Never Forget
For our children, the animals were the absolute highlight of the entire vacation. Every morning, their first stop was the petting zoo. The alpacas, rabbits, goats, sheep, and donkeys quickly became their daily companions. They were especially thrilled that they were allowed to pet and feed so many of... the animals. You could really see how affectionate and calm the animals were with the visitors. These encounters gave our children unforgettable memories and made the vacation something truly special.

Even though the location stayed the same, every day felt different. Sometimes the focus was on water, sometimes on the animals, and sometimes just on running around and exploring.
