We spent 5 whole days in Sonnenland and were simply thrilled.
Everything was just right and it couldn't have been better. The staff were ALL friendly and motivated, no matter what time of day you met them.
I particularly have to highlight the waitresses... in the restaurant, Renate and Chiara.
The staff constantly kept our spirits high and simply made our vacation even better, if that was even possible.
We will come here again and again, just because of the Bimmel Bahn, my absolute favorite train ❤️

We can't understand the moaners, especially when it comes to small things, and wonder why they don't just stay at home... What more could you want from a campsite? We go to the Sonnenland campsite several times a year and it's never boring. The bouncy castles are awesome, others... can't even begin to keep up. The individual stations are lovingly designed, the staff are friendly, the catering is varied and the toilets and showers are plentiful and always clean.... It was her first trip and the first time she met so many other dog breeds. But because we know that only good dogs of all breeds are allowed, this was no problem. Our little Sally was even able to play with Bello, the dearest Rotweiler we had ever met.
