- 4.0SSSusanne S.september 2026Top RV ParkWe really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back for an overnight stopover. Unfortunately, the location is too noisy for a longer stay because of its proximity to the street and the bridge. But it’s in a very nice spot near the city center. Downtown is just a short walk away. The restrooms were super clean and very spacious.

I've rarely seen better ones. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The RV sites are of standard quality.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første!
- 4.0MBMona B.august 2026Centrally located campground in Meppen, right on the Ems RiverI really liked that the individual plots were large enough for the three of us to park our cars in a U-shape. Unfortunately, a few birds pooped all over the car—which is inevitable when you’re parked under a tree. The restrooms were 100% clean. We received a friendly welcome at the front desk. It’s a lovely spot in Meppen. We’d love to come back.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første!

- 5.0LKLothar K.august 2026Positive tingIt takes 3 minutes to get to MeppenNegative tingIf I can't find anyNice placeSome people think the campground isn't great—well, everyone has their own opinion. I'll say it plainly: it's top-notch. It's close to Meppen, where there's a great selection of activities and plenty of events—it doesn't get any better than this. The most important thing for any camper: very friendly staff, a super-clean washhouse, spacious showers, and excellent waste disposal facilities. We'd love to come back.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første!
- 5.0RDRainer D.juli 2026Positive tingEverything except the location (see below).Negative tingLocated along a road that remains heavily trafficked even late at night.Very good, but!Even late at night, the traffic along the square was still almost unbearable. This square—with its facilities, staff, and so on—would be great if it were located somewhere else.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første!
- 4.0INIngo N.juli 2026Camping in MeppenA very nice campground located right on the Ems River; it takes about 5 minutes to reach Meppen’s old town. The sites are plenty big and come with electricity and water right on the spot. The restroom facilities are clean and are cleaned daily except on Sundays.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. Bli den første!
- 4.0NMNely M.juli 2026Positive tingClose to the village and the poolNegative tingToo Much Traffic NoiseCamping Meppen, GermanyThe road across the street is too busy. Aside from the nice restroom building, there are no other amenities. The price is way too high for what you get. I paid 77 euros for two nights, and I was unpleasantly surprised to find out I had to pay another 10 euros on the spot for electricity.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. @wohnwagenland ..juli 2026Positive ting...close to the city ...by the water ...friendly staff ...great bathrooms ...swimming pool/outdoor pool right next doorNegative tingnoneReally great campgroundWe stayed there for one night, and overall it was a great stay. The location is fantastic—Meppen’s downtown is a 5-minute walk away, and there’s a swimming pool/outdoor pool just 2 minutes away. Kaufland is 2 minutes away. The campsites are spacious, and some are right on the river. The restrooms are... the best part—super clean, and you can only access them with a code provided at the front desk. Whether for one night or longer, this is a super central campground. We’d definitely come back.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. - 4.0SGStephanie G.juni 2026Positive tingClose to the waterIt was nice hereThe campground itself is in a very beautiful location. - 4.0DRDieter R.juni 2026A wonderful stayWe were there over Pentecost and the campground was pretty full. We had no trouble finding our site. The restrooms were very clean, and the site had electricity, drinking water, and a gray water drain—though we didn’t use the latter. Great location, with the town center within walking distance. Plenty... of dining options with good food.
We really enjoyed our stay there. After Pentecost, many people left and we had plenty of space.
We’d love to come back.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå. - 4.0DDDiane D.mai 2026Positive tingGreat location right on the Ems River, perfect for exploring Meppen. The downtown area is just a few steps away.Negative tingThe location near the city means there is traffic noise. Graywater disposal is not available on the site.A great place to explore MeppenThe best restroom facilities we've ever seen at a Knaus campground.
However, a few things were broken: the door to the restroom, the Camper Clean, and a dryer.Automatisk oversatt.Ingen campere har funnet denne evalueringen nyttig ennå.
