- SSSusanne S.september 2026Top RV ParkWe really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back for an overnight stopover. Unfortunately, the location is too noisy for a longer stay because of its proximity to the street and the bridge. But it’s in a very nice spot near the city center. Downtown is just a short walk away. The restrooms were super clean and very spacious.

Unfortunately, a few birds pooped all over the car—which is inevitable when you’re parked under a tree. The restrooms were 100% clean. We received a friendly welcome at the front desk. I'll say it plainly: it's top-notch. It's close to Meppen, where there's a great selection of activities and plenty of events—it doesn't get any better than this. The most important thing for any camper: very friendly staff, a super-clean washhouse, spacious showers, and excellent waste disposal facilities. The sites are plenty big and come with electricity and water right on the spot. Aside from the nice restroom building, there are no other amenities. The price is way too high for what you get. The location is fantastic—Meppen’s downtown is a 5-minute walk away, and there’s a swimming pool/outdoor pool just 2 minutes away. Kaufland is 2 minutes away. The campsites are spacious, and some are right on the river. The restrooms are... the best part—super clean, and you can only access them with a code provided at the front desk. The restrooms were very clean, and the site had electricity, drinking water, and a gray water drain—though we didn’t use the latter. Great location, with the town center within walking distance. Plenty... of dining options with good food.
We really enjoyed our stay there. After Pentecost, many people left and we had plenty of space.
