I'll say it plainly: it's top-notch. It's close to Meppen, where there's a great selection of activities and plenty of events—it doesn't get any better than this. The most important thing for any camper: very friendly staff, a super-clean washhouse, spacious showers, and excellent waste disposal facilities. The location is fantastic—Meppen’s downtown is a 5-minute walk away, and there’s a swimming pool/outdoor pool just 2 minutes away. Kaufland is 2 minutes away. The campsites are spacious, and some are right on the river. The restrooms are... the best part—super clean, and you can only access them with a code provided at the front desk. The restrooms were very clean, and the site had electricity, drinking water, and a gray water drain—though we didn’t use the latter. Great location, with the town center within walking distance. Plenty... of dining options with good food.
We really enjoyed our stay there. After Pentecost, many people left and we had plenty of space.
