In addition, the surrounding streets are very noisy, so we would only recommend this site as a place to pass through.
The electricity flat rate... of €5 is also very high if you heat and cook with gas. For the newer caravans with air conditioning it is of course very cheap. After we unfortunately had to postpone our vacation in early summer due to illness, we were here for the first time in October.
It was a little quieter for the time of year and the place was emptier, but that's sometimes quite pleasant.
The staff were... all very friendly and the whole site was always clean.
If you're looking for all-round relaxation, you're in the wrong place here, but there are pitches right on the Ems, a nearby swimming pool and the center of Meppen, which is within walking distance.

I found the new mobile homes unpleasant, the old ones had a nicer interior layout and storage space.
And it was very noisy from the traffic this time.

Everything within easy reach. Great shore pitch with a beautiful view. Only the Internet is sher in need of improvement and you can better have enough data volume and do without the W-Lan. Unfortunately, I am still waiting for an answer from Knaus regarding the earlier departure. The water supply failed on the hottest day. Sanitary facilities were... closed from 10.30am. Water could not be tapped.
