Very large space with lots on offer
Overall the stay was ok, but the distances to the sanitary facilities are often very long. However, these were clean and well maintained despite high occupancy. The gardening work on the neighboring golf course early in the morning was a bit annoying.
The playgrounds and children's pools are a real highlight and very lovingly designed.
Some of the paths are very narrow, probably a challenge with a larger vehicle.

No possibility to cool down no direct bathing facilities

We have been to the Gitz several times now and feel comfortable there but we would not spend our summer vacation there again for 4-5 days OK but not longer because the pool is missing the kids get bored faster and in good weather there is simply no way to cool off if at least a water play area had been... made as a replacement that would have been something so you are forced to go outside the square to the water to cool off we think that's a shame. We stayed a few days over Whitsun and the whole week was the same children's program every day, so the kids were no longer interested on the third day, so compared to our first stays a few years ago, the Gitz has unfortunately diminished.

Pitches far too small and narrow. NO pool
Price/performance of the pitch not fair
The comfort seats (at the reception) are simply MUCH too narrow!
Halving the number would help considerably and provide the atmosphere needed (60m2 at this price is simply not fair).

It is not appropriate for such an expensive campsite not to have a pool. At least a proper rain shower/sprinkler for... the children would be the least.

The night's rest is not observed, despite asking the supervisor at 11:30 pm.
Why are Gauckler "allowed" to have open fires all day? What does the campsite gain from these lights spreading ...

Short vacation
It was a very nice short break. Pitch 355 was just right for us as there were trees that could provide us with shade as it was a very hot day.
The campsite is very suitable for families with children. However, we missed a swimming pool.
The staff were very friendly. The sanitary facilities were clean.
We will come back again sometime.

Nice place, unfortunately without outdoor pool
Beautiful, family-friendly place that we have always enjoyed visiting. Unfortunately, the Gitz is no longer an option for us in summer due to the closure of the outdoor pool (and currently no alternative for cooling off, e.g. water playground).

Camping vacation
Great campsite for families with children up to the age of 13. Very good entertainment program. Location not on the Ser but away from the
the hustle and bustle of Lake Constance. Nevertheless, the lake is easy to reach by bike or bus.

Unfortunately we missed the swimming pool. We heard this from many other campers during our stay.

Very clean and beautiful
The campsite is very clean and beautifully laid out, the sanitary facilities are plentiful and tidy. The pitches are level and well laid out for a motorhome.

One with a star.
Very nice site with a great wash house.

Very pleasant place
We received a very friendly welcome, and we were immediately helped with small problems at check-in. All around everything was very good, only the W-Lan leaves a lot to be desired, at least on the balloon meadow!

Quite OK
No outdoor pool. Therefore only "quite ok". Why was the existing outdoor pool built back? The showers should be repaired. The water only runs for approx. 2 - 3 seconds, which is very tedious.

Super place, due to 2 other caravans / friends that was perfect. Good food, pool is gone, which didn't bother us but would have been great.

Large beautiful square
Beautiful, large place with an unobstructed view (without bushes and trees) directly onto the pond.
Unfortunately, we had to realize that the beautiful large pool had to give way to nature and will not be rebuilt elsewhere, which is a great pity.
Unfortunately, the restaurant with very good cuisine has... to make way for the upcoming renovation work.
We doubt whether the flair of a small village square will be retained.
The sanitary facilities are state of the art and very clean. Reception staff are very friendly!

Everything is fine again!
Our stay was again very nice and we particularly liked the sanitary facilities. The negative thing for us was that there was no more pool, especially in weather like this...

Everything was great - large facility, like a club vacation
Great campsite with spacious sanitary facilities. Reception is well organized. We were helped quickly and pragmatically when we had a problem.
