"Very nice campsite - Nice staff, centrally located. A very nice, newly renovated campsite, great cycle paths, beautiful pitches. Electricity and water not directly at the site. Unfortunately there are only containers as sanitary facilities further back on the site, normally not bad, but these are not heated and hot/cold water connections are mixed up. The sanitary facilities were particularly busy over the holidays, but the cleaning was very poor. Many campers complained about this. This should be worked on urgently. Because at a campsite like this you should also pay attention to cleanliness. Otherwise, this campsite is really very nice and we would come again.

"One of the most beautiful places - For me one of the most beautiful places on the Rhine. As an ideal hiker, I really have to say it's a dream come true. I'm there almost every other weekend because I use the route as training for my marathons. I love this place 💖

"Camping ground Sonneneck in Boppard - The campsite is a place to come back to and feel at home. The retail shop in Boppard was very nice, as was the Volk bakery in Spay. This was definitely not our last vacation at this site.

"Very crowded and noisy in high season - The advantage is the front row with a view of the Rhine. Bread roll service is also great bread rolls from the bakery

"Vacation from 16.06.24 -30.06.24 - I was with my sister and her husband for 2 weeks on site my sister with caravan right on the water, I in a rented cottage it was very nice, the staff always responsive for a question. The restaurant very good we watched soccer there very nice service. All in all a very nice vacation with nice weather, we will definitely come back.

Our pitches are not parcelled off. You can choose your own pitch. Our …swimming pool and children’s paddling pool and play area are at your disposal, as well as mini-golf and other sports activities. We welcome pets. Fishing, hiking and cycling enthusiasts – with us, you will have ideal conditions to enjoy your hobby in. Our chef and catering staff are dedicated to looking after your physical wellbeing. Our inviting restaurant on the banks of the Rhine provides good food in a pleasant atmosphere. We also have a bread service, providing bread rolls fresh from the bakery. For all your shopping needs, an ample range of shops can be found in the neighbouring towns of Boppard Spay and Rhens.
