Something could be done about the ventilation in Sanitary Building II. It was always very warm in the shower rooms in the evening, and unfortunately, the place wasn’t clean anymore by then. The campsite was great—plenty of space and a fantastic location. The staff, no matter where you went, were very friendly. The laundry facilities were clean, and the kids really enjoyed the playground. They also loved the foosball, pool, and table tennis. We also... really liked how well-organized the campground was, the mini-market with self-checkout, and how straightforward check-in and check-out were.
Dogs are very welcome; the dog beaches are big enough and, most importantly, clean.
My only “complaint”
- The “Currywurst” at Currywerk should perhaps be labeled as “grilled currywurst” somewhere. I was looking forward to a currywurst and got a bratwurst with curry sauce (which, by the way, was veeeery delicious). The campground is divided into small sections by hedges and shrubs, creating a pleasant, private atmosphere. The tent sites are in quiet locations and offer plenty of space. For kids, it’s a wonderful campground full of adventures. I also got the feeling that... a lot of thought had gone into what campers need (a large kitchen with nice tables, indoor common areas for bad weather, separate bathing areas for dogs and children, ...). Oh, and for older teens, there’s a cool game room with a pool table and other activities. The Currywerk and the small convenience store on the grounds are nice touches. If you need anything else,... there’s a Tante Enso store just a 10-minute walk away. What I personally really liked is that electricity and the showers are included in the price—you don’t have to pay extra or deal with any restrictions when showering.
The showers and restrooms are spotless!! You can really tell that the entire campground is run with attention to detail. Keep up the great work. The campground and everything around it are great. The only downside is the price of the rolls.
In our opinion—and that of the families we spoke with—they’re way too expensive. I think 70 cents for a regular roll and €2 for a cheese roll is pretty steep. But they sure tasted good!!!
