The condition of the site was also checked daily. The site is highly recommended, especially with children. We had a great time at the campsite! Everything was very clean, which immediately gave us a good feeling. We particularly liked the beautiful lake - ideal for relaxing and swimming.
The pitches are really nicely situated, with a pleasant mix of tree shade and sun - there's something for everyone. The... playgrounds are also great and offer lots for children.
The surrounding area is perfect for excursions, whether by bike or car. The service when booking and at check-in was also great - friendly, uncomplicated and well organized.
One small wish: the kiosk could offer a little more choice. Otherwise everything was great!

Quiet location almost directly on the lake with dog beach. Hiking and cycling trails in the immediate vicinity. Gastronomically a size smaller than a "real" restaurant, but was very tasty at Curry-Werk.

Family camping over Whitsun despite an almost selected pitch, it was very pleasant and didn't seem crowded. The sanitary facilities were always very clean and the lounges were particularly good on rainy days. The communal cooking and the well-equipped kitchen are great. We were completely delighted with the Kalletal campsite. The location is beautiful, surrounded by greenery and tranquillity - ideal for relaxing and unwinding. The pitches are spacious and offer plenty of room for tents, caravans or motorhomes....
The sanitary facilities are modern, clean and regularly maintained. The team on site is very friendly and always ready to help, which makes your stay particularly pleasant. There are great play and leisure facilities for families and dog owners also feel welcome here. The adjoining lake with its sandy beach and several small islands also offers ambitious paddlers, swimmers, pedal boaters etc. enough space to make sufficient distance.
The cooking and dining room should also be highlighted, which offers a wide range of kitchen utensils as well as several cooking and washing-up facilities. Perfect for a joint kitchen battle... 😊
We particularly liked the proximity to hiking and cycling trails, which made it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings. We have been very satisfied for 6 years now.
However, in view of the fact that there are more and more empty houses in Varenholz, we hope that this problem... will not become yours.
