As in the previous year, we were very satisfied with the site and the facilities available (sanitary facilities, reception, leisure activities - table tennis and table football as well as a separate fitness room). In particular, the very... good location on the Stemmer See with the possibilities for SUP use and swimming rounded off the vacation. We were also impressed by the well-equipped camper kitchen, where we were able to eat together with our motorhome friends both the food from Currywerk and the food delivered by the nearby pizzeria.
Contrary to some forecasts, the weather was also fine.

Apart from the good weather at the time, we really enjoyed our stay here. The staff and guests were always friendly and courteous. Our pitch was very well maintained and the sanitary facilities were in perfect condition.
Unfortunately, some people don't... know how to behave and seem to assume that the brush in the toilet is for brushing their teeth. They only have their heads to cut their hair, but it's not the pitch's fault.
The MiniMarkt and the "PommesBude" are great! All in all, you have everything you need on site.
However, we do have one criticism: a few more garbage cans on the edges of the path would be appropriate here and there.

The reception treats you casually said "from above" and likes to show who is the boss....

Overpriced.Nice, but expensiveGenerally speaking, at over €80 per night (4 people in a camper van), the campsite is in the upper price segment and should offer more, but the campsite is beautifully laid out with hedges and offers modern sanitary facilities. Our pitch was absolutely adequate despite our relatively large caravan. Beautiful bathing lake with a large sandy beach. Super friendly staff. - Eileen R.august 2025Family with 3 childrenThe site is beautifully situated by the lake, and the wakeboard park on the neighboring lake is also very well done. The beach is nice for the little ones, a bit many dog beaches but ok. The place itself is unfortunately not worthy of 5 stars. The sanitary facilities were not clean and the silicone... joints in the showers were all moldy. Also too few toilets. It all looks very unkempt/neglected. The children's entertainment program is available but expensive and children must be registered in advance.
The curry factory is recommended/tasty. Unfortunately little choice, otherwise no restaurant.
Lawn is mowed between 12 and 13 o'clock (not only on one day) when we put our little one down for a nap, also the place is very dusty due to the fine gravel. Every time a vehicle or lawnmower passes by, everything is covered in dust.
We left early because we didn't feel comfortable here. The staff accepted our criticism and also promised a refund for the open days.
For the price, the place is ok, but maybe worth 3 stars. If I book 5 stars, I expect something else.Automatisk oversat. - Manfred K.august 2025Top!!!Very beautiful and well-kept grounds, the many trees provide sufficient shade if you want it. The hedges give you a certain amount of privacy. The wash houses are very well maintained and spacious.
The kitchen for free use is simply great. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Everything is very... child and dog friendly. The swimming lake and beach are great! The leisure facilities are great. We will definitely be back! As a small suggestion for improvement, I would like to see one or two additional garbage cans, which are unfortunately in short supply on the way back around the lake.
