Bree V.august 2025Family campsiteBeautiful, family-oriented campsite. We were there during the summer vacation period. Overall clean, the cleaning team can't do anything for little camper pigs. They were active in the sanitary area three times a day. Nice camper kitchen and we also liked the wellness area.
Our kids loved the playground... with bouncy cushions and the playroom was also well received. There is also a delicious crêpe stand.
The only negative point for us was the large number of untrained dogs. The owners themselves cause the displeasure of their fellow campers with their behavior. There is a special dog beach and an off-leash area in front of the campsite, but unfortunately not everyone sticks to it.

Camping used to mean something different. Closer to nature. It seems to be more and more about comfort and highlights. The cute little campsite no longer exists. At the entrance, it's totally dangerous for children and animals due to the high volume of traffic.... I was there alone with a dog and small child and was completely overwhelmed by the feeling. In the evening, really speeding e-scooters and other vehicles almost crashed into us. It's safer in the city....
The dog beach facilities are good, but if I'm there with a dog and child, it's not manageable because the dog isn't allowed anywhere where children want to play. This also applies to the beach facilities.
In the hot season, you can't just leave the animal at the caravan...
Furthermore, it would be nice if there were a few trees directly on the beach so that you can protect yourself when it's very hot.
I found it positive that there were also chalets and that the wash houses were always clean. The lake was also clean and you could swim well. Online booking and billing is great.
Unfortunately, it's a shame that you can't reach anyone by phone for urgent questions. E-mails are not always answered either.
The bread rolls are completely overpriced. Not a good offer for families.
Well. Sometimes the latest is not necessarily the best.

The range of goods in the mini market could be larger. Likewise the choice of food at the "Curry werk". The distance between the individual power points is sometimes very long.
The site is very clean and well maintained. The wash houses are modern, friendly... and clean. Waste disposal without any problems. Check in and license plate recognition went very smoothly. Super beach. A paradise for children.

The only downside is that it gets more expensive every year, not just the camping fee, but also the prices at the curry shop, go-karts etc.
Also, because everyone brings their board, the beach on the shore is neither accessible,... nor are there many ways to get into the water. My son especially enjoyed the "children's entertainment". It would be good if this could be booked online in advance. We were lucky and could take part in a few things.... But the limited places sold out quickly.
The only drawback for me is the "fitness room". I would like to see more on offer here.
The food at Currywerk was also great.

We were there week 31+32/2025. Unfortunately we were not so lucky with the weather - one week only rain. Nevertheless, the stay was very pleasant! The camping... park offers everything a family needs!
Clean, modern sanitary facilities. Showers do not cost extra!!! --> An integrated timer lets you take a 5-minute hot shower, then you have 3 minutes to soap yourself and the children and can then shower for another 5 minutes, so that you can manage everything properly even with several children. The https://currywerk-lemgo.de/ (which has a branch on the campsite) and the mini market are also available. A pizzeria directly at the access road and several supermarkets in the immediate vicinity offer everything you need. Several playgrounds, soccer field, volleyball, many open spaces + the lake next door with https://www.wasserski-kalletal.de/ also offer extraordinary leisure activities. The people at the reception are very friendly and helpful, the online check-in [access to the campsite, via camera license plate recognition], including ordering bread rolls [in the user portal] facilitate a relaxed camping vacation.
