The entire stay was very positive. The kids were able to keep themselves busy all day long doing their own thing at the campground. There were plenty of options—playing soccer, riding scooters on the obstacle course, or doing arts and crafts in the activity tent. There’s nothing to complain about. Top-notch restrooms, sports facilities in the on-site gym, shopping options (a small supermarket), a restaurant and fish shop, a playground for the kids, and a sports field for soccer.
You can get to Burg quickly by bike or car.
Because it’s so nice, we’ve been coming here for years.

The last street leading to the campsite was narrow but passable. The gate opened at 2:00 p.m., and we were able to drive to the campsite. The campsite is large and has water and sewer hookups. The broken faucet was replaced in no time. Great!
The... small supermarket carried just about everything you could want—at understandably slightly higher prices.

The license plate recognition system at the gate works flawlessly, and you can drive onto the grounds without... any problems and find your campsite (which also works flawlessly). Then it’s time to set up camp and let the vacation begin. The kids play on the playground or take part in the great kids’ activities, while parents can enjoy a cool drink. The restrooms were consistently clean; we always had the feeling they’d just been cleaned. The little shop has everything you might have forgotten to bring. The staff is so friendly, and we feel completely in good hands!NegativnoIt's a shame that in the bistro tent you can only pay at a screen and with a card; that's not so great for the kids who want to buy a little snack or something to drink (it could get very expensive for us parents to let the kids use the card ;o) ) And for us adults, I find it very impersonal toward the bar staff. I’d prefer to go back to paying with cash.It doesn't get much better than this!!!We love Insel Camp and go there every summer. We find everything we need there.
We love the peace and quiet—especially after 10 p.m.—but even during the day, it’s never too rowdy there. We appreciate the 5-star rating, which is absolutely well-deserved!
The restrooms are always clean, and they have everything... you need. Large showers (our girls’ favorite is No. 6 ;o) ), hair dryers—everything is bright and new.
In the morning, we pick up bread rolls at the little shop; at lunchtime, a fish sandwich on the beach; and in the evening, a super delicious meal at the restaurant. Everything is prepared with care and is top-notch!
We’re so happy to have found this great campground and love coming back there again and again!
