I think this is the 13th time we've been to the campsite, so you could say we like it there ;-) Even the booking is wonderfully clear and simple, as is the registration. Here and there you can see that the site is no longer brand new, but that's right, you can't redo everything every year.

This time, as is often the case, we were on the pitch in the fall just before the end of the season. Towards the fall, we always have the feeling that the water in the showers isn't quite as warm, so it would be nice if that changed again. And the running time of the water is also extremely short in many showers, sometimes you press the button more than you shower. I understand the need to save water, but in some showers the 10 - 15 second running time is very short. But that's all we have to complain about.
Bensersiel again ;-)
Bensersiel is our absolute favorite place, we have to come at least once a year ;-) Hopefully it will stay that way for a long time to come.

That you could only leave the square by bike or on foot via the entrance. A small pedestrian door at the end of the square would be nice.
Great place right on the beach
A very nice place that, unlike the surrounding places on the coast, is in front of the dyke, so that you can always look out over the mudflats or the water. It's right next to the harbor and within walking distance of the stores.

The sanitary buildings were cleaned and checked sporadically throughout the day. Small row of stores and some restaurants within walking distance. Arrival possible until 22.00 hrs.

-No WLAN, after an incredibly long and confusing registration procedure, the hotspot offered works for 5 minutes - but not always. -After a rain shower, many pitches are under a centimeter of water. -Due to the size and the frequent arrivals and departures, you can feel a constant restlessness.
Who awards the points?
Overall, I don't want to talk the site down, there are sufficient and modern sanitary buildings, although the cleanliness could be better in detail.
The sports and games facilities are good.
However, for us - not again.
And there is definitely no 5-point rating.
Here 3.5 to 4 points are enough!

Well laid out and very clean sanitary facilities with plenty of space in both the toilets and the shower cubicles. Large, clean play areas, inside and outside with various play equipment/possibilities.

In my opinion, there were too many beach chairs in one area, and they were placed all over the place so that you could never see the North Sea directly from the campsite. But that's a matter of taste.

Actually a very nice place. Reservation without any problems, staff very friendly. Nice clean wash houses in sufficient numbers. Very suitable for families.

Very large site with corresponding car traffic. Quite narrow access to the pitches. Quite small, narrow pitches, but not cheap. Due to the many people it is a bit restless on the site.

Super nice vacation spot
The site is very well maintained and the sanitary facilities were cleaned several times a day.
We extended our vacation while we were there because we liked it so much.
The children's entertainment was great. They went around the campsite in the morning and took all the children who wanted to.
We have been here again, with and without children, and will definitely be back.

The complex is right by the sea and has direct access to the beach. The cleanliness of the whole complex is perfect. The bread selection in the kiosk is great and the bread rolls are also very tasty. The staff are friendly and helpful. The site is highly recommended for camping vacations.

Reservation online, reception on arrival, everything smooth and friendly. Location in front of the dyke very nice for "marveling" at the water and mudflats. Comfort pitch in the first row takes some getting used to in strong winds.

Back at the North Sea for the first time in many years
We felt very comfortable. As born northerners, we knew that the water wasn't always there. We didn't want to swim in the North Sea anyway. The sanitary facilities were always clean, as far as is possible with a fully occupied site. The beach portal with tourist information, fast food restaurant and small... stores saved us from the rainy days. The almost non-stop rain and strong winds during half of our stay cannot be blamed on the campsite, but they are to be expected even in midsummer. There are many facilities for families with children; we didn't test them, but we did watch them on one of the rare sunny days. The town with its harbor and many tourist-oriented stores is within walking distance, even the crab sandwiches were a bit expensive but very tasty.
