A really beautiful campground
It's a beautiful campground with a great location and extremely friendly and dedicated owners. The campsites are lovely; the grounds are green and very clean. The restrooms are great and also very clean. There's even a small swimming lake right in the middle. There are many hiking and biking trails in the area.

Great welcome—they pay attention to the little details. Beautiful, well-maintained grounds, and the restrooms are in tip-top shape, too. They even provide carts to transport your toilet cassette.

Relaxation from the very beginning
A cozy place to relax. The campsites by the lake are equipped with electricity, water, and sewer hookups and are very well maintained. There are carts placed about every 100 meters to help transport the toilet cassette. I’d never seen anything like it before. The on-site restaurant was excellent. Here,... too, service is a top priority. They’ve thought of everything—from treats and water for your four-legged friend to a water spray bottle on the table to ward off wasps. The value for money was good. We’ll definitely be back.

One of the most beautiful campgrounds
This is yet another visit to this great spot where you can swim in the summer. The restrooms are located in two buildings, and you’d think you were in a single-family home. Everything is stylish, clean, and inviting. One building has a self-service area with butter, milk, and pastries, plus a toaster... oven and microwave. It’s all set up in a living-room-style space with a TV and an open fireplace. There’s also a wonderful restaurant serving high-quality food at reasonable prices. Highlight: red Prosecco from Treviso on tap. Large campsites with plenty of greenery and shade next to a Trakehner stud farm.

The fact that a few people don't follow the quiet hours and grounds rules. Walking their dogs through the complex at 11:45 p.m. Others let their dogs pee in the complex

A wonderfully beautiful, small, and quiet campground located next to a swimming pond that invites you to relax. Cleanliness and the well-being of guests are the top priorities.

A very nice, quiet campground—perfect for dogs—with good food and a great campsite with a direct view of the pond. We’ll be back next year. 2 adults + dog. P.S.: We love the outdoor showers.

The fence around the dog area needs a little repair, but otherwise everything is great.

It's very easy to get there, and check-in is quick; site assignment is hassle-free; there's water and electricity at the site; the waste disposal area is a bit of a walk away but not too far. All in all, a great stay.

The surroundings are wonderful, and the campground owners have thought of everything. For example, there’s a dog beach and a dog wash, as well as small carts for hauling away wastewater. The restrooms are clean and well-equipped.

Family-Friendly Campground
The small lake in the middle of the campground is wonderful. The water is clear, and its temperature is very refreshing. The biggest perk is that dogs can swim in it in a designated area. Our dog really enjoyed it.
The campsites around the lake are very tastefully laid out and provide campers with plenty... of privacy. We were lucky enough to have our campsite just a few meters from the water’s edge. There are plenty of hiking and biking opportunities in the area. The Mura River flows right next to the campground and is a great place to cool off.
This was our best camping trip so far—we’ll definitely be back.

1 Week of Camping on Murinsel
We spent a week at the campground. Unfortunately, our campsite wasn't very nice. There was a lot of shade, and the trees were too big.
The Murstüberl restaurant was very good—great food and friendly service.

Absolutely nothing to complain about
Simply amazing!
We spent 3 nights at this idyllic campground and had a wonderful time! It offers everything a camper could ask for: spacious sites on the lakeshore (even with your own umbrella), spotlessly clean restrooms, and a cozy lounge with plenty of reading material….
Plus, the friendly lady at the front desk….
We highly recommend this campground!!!

It's always really nice at Murinsel. We love coming here. Beautiful, spacious campsites with water and electricity right on the site.

Beautiful spots by the pond, a great restaurant right on the grounds;
We had planned to stay for one week, but ended up extending our stay by a few days because we enjoyed it so much! We'll definitely be back.

Time and time again! And for good reason!
This was our second time at this great campground, but this time our little tent stakes weren’t cooperating. The hosts immediately pulled out all the stops to find some tent stakes for us. Within 5 minutes, we were supplied with great tent pegs, all thanks to the cheerful and good-natured hospitality... of the host family. Of all the campgrounds we’ve ever been to, this family’s dedication, warmth, and down-to-earth nature far surpass anything we’ve experienced so far. Another highlight for us: when the restaurant is closed, a pizza truck pulls up and stays all afternoon—delicious pizza! Freshly baked rolls in the kitchen every morning—unbeatable. All in all, we’ll be back—for sure! Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Unfortunately, it rained quite a bit during our stay, but the campground’s location and amenities were top-notch by our standards. What we found a bit bothersome was the surly attitude of our mostly German neighbors. Out of 5, 4 failed to return even a friendly “Good morning” or “Grüß Gott,” but that has nothing to do with the campground itself—it was really great, and the staff shone with their friendliness!

The campground is great. I just don't like that there are so many long-term campers right by the lake. The owners of the Murstüberl and the Hopf family are very friendly and helpful.
