We were able to get a small spot, for which we were very grateful—it was more than enough for one night. We wouldn’t spend more than a few days at this campground, though, since it wouldn’t have been possible to set up the awning. It has everything you need: a small store, a restaurant, and a pool. The restrooms are very clean. The nearest bus stop is just a few minutes’ walk away. From there, you can quickly reach the hiking areas, Merano, or Bolzano.

Unfortunately, we had a site that was only about 50 square meters (about 9.5 meters long and 4.5 meters wide), making it almost impossible to set up the awning. We were absolutely disappointed by the type of campsite—a very small and cramped spot right in the check-in area across from the front desk. You’re practically on display there—hardly any privacy—and all for the same price as a spot on the actual... campground grounds. In essence, it’s nothing more than a basic RV parking lot, but far too expensive! When we pointed this out to the lady at the front desk, her reaction wasn’t very friendly.
The restrooms were clean; we didn’t use any other facilities.

You have to park in front of the gate if there’s space. 11:00 p.m. would be a good time. The Wi-Fi is so-so, and the pool officially closes at 6:00 p.m. That’s too early if you’re coming back from a workout.Top CampgroundTop spot. I'd go back anytime—it's a place you really enjoy being. For some guests, it wasn't for swimming, but rather a place to have a chat in the middle of the pool. Oh well... there are worse things. Other than that, there's nothing negative to report.Camping in a quiet locationWe had a relaxing vacation in a great location. It’s easy to explore the area by bus and bike. Merano and Bolzano aren’t far away, and there are Waalwege trails to walk....
We rented a Vespa for one day—we highly recommend it. We’d stayed at this campground once before, a few years ago. A lot has changed... since then. Significant investments have been made in the outdoor area of the restaurant and the entire building.
The restrooms… all in all, very clean.
The newly redesigned pool area… fantastic.

The campground is very well-maintained; the restrooms aren't the newest, but they're clean. The campground is in a great location—you can take nice day trips to nearby towns, ride the mountain railways, and hike the amazing Waalweg trails all around. With bikes, you can get anywhere via the many bike paths. There are lots of delicious restaurants in Lana and along the Waalweg trails. We had planned to go out to eat there to wrap up our trip. Especially since it rained a lot that day. But luckily, the restaurant by the outdoor pool isn't far away. Very clean and quiet. The public transportation connections are excellent (bus and train), and the connection to the bike path to Merano and Bolzano is excellent. For larger shopping trips, a Eurospar is just a few... minutes away by bike. Lana is a charming little town with lovely restaurants and shops. If you’re looking for something bigger, you can head over to the neighbors; they have a large, competition-sized pool. They also hosted a pool party there for young adults (ages 18 and up).
