- UBUlrich B.Ekim 2026?????The campground is indeed beautiful and in a lovely location, but unfortunately it’s a bit far from where the action is. To do any activities, you have to get in the car and drive there. It’s a shame that you apparently can’t walk around the shore of Lake Pilsen. During our stay, the front desk was only... staffed until 5:00 p.m. In my opinion, that’s too short. Access in and out is regulated by barriers between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. For emergencies, guests are directed to an emergency hotline. Honestly, in the event of a medical emergency between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., I wouldn’t have the time or peace of mind to wait in front of the closed barrier, hoping the gate would open after calling the emergency number. The new restroom facility is very nice and clean. There are no wall hooks in many places; one of the two hand dryer blowers is broken; and the water shut-off valves close so quickly that it’s difficult to wash your hands properly. In addition, it takes a long time for the sensor to detect that it should turn on the water supply. Good connections via the S-Bahn and bus.
The beach bar could use some improvement—both the snacks and the drinks. - AHAnton H.Eylül 2026A beautifully situated campground on Lake PilsenStarting with the very simple check-in process (receptionist: “I recognized you by your license plate—you’re all set”), the staff was always friendly and helpful with their advice, and the restroom facilities deserve a special mention. I’ve never had such a great wash/shower stall before! Showering here... was really fun. Plenty of hooks, generous storage space, and no wet shoes or clothes after showering because the showerheads don’t spray water everywhere. Dishwasher use was partially free.
